Hello and welcome back to my channel, this time with a special video, because it will be about these batches, how they work, what the QR code means, and everything between. I meant to make this video only for the Hive Open Days event host team, but I thought why not also sharing it on a Hive to showcase what we can do and how easy it can be to onboard people. First of all, these batches, everyone gets one. From Hive users, from new users, they will all get such a batch. This is the batch. The keychain is not ready, this is from last year, but this is the badge, and the QR code will guide you to a landing page. If you are a Hive user, there is your username, not guest. If you are a guest, you can write your username here with a wide adding. I will show you the guest flow because both of them are kind of the same, but as a guest, of course, you can create your account. So, let us just do this. So let us scan this. Go on Hive Open Day's sign up. Obviously, it's a secret code. You can try this code. It won't work for you. And now you are on the landing page. The landing page is bilingual, so you can change the language to Spanish if you want. And because I'm a guest, the most important thing is to create an account, obviously. Then we have the timetable. Let's just click on it. There is a timetable with various days and a map if you want. So this could be shared with other events. Then we have the event website. I won't show you this now. This is hiveopendays.com. Then we have the ECNC Discord because we think that ECNC does a great job on keeping people active on the chain. Then we have Hive Open Days telegram group, just if they have some current questions or questions related to the... to the event, and then we have live translations. The live translations will be covered in a separate video because it is so complex yet easy to use. But there are so many cool features in there, I want to make a dedicated video about it. But now, of course, let us create an account. So create account, then we type in our desired username. Tip Fox. Ah damn, someone is named already like this. um let's say 420 that's still free then uh if you do something wrong you will see what is wrong so underscores and all that stuff and now let's go continue on the next step we have our keys we don't show them by default because it will confuse people we say copy all keys, download key file, one of these buttons I have to click to activate, I've saved my keys. So let's download this key file. Done, and now I can click, I'll saved, I've saved my keys. Create account. You're all set, your account will be created in the Hive blockchain shortly. And now something important happens, I'm going on the... back-end and create all pending accounts and now my account was created. When I now go back to batch home, I don't see any create account anymore, I see my Hive profile and set up keychain. And obviously, we want to have keychain because keychain works with keychain, but also works with Hive-Alth. So if they set up their account here, they are able to log in on their mobile device, but later also at home. So this is super cool, and also I find it really, really cool that you can use Hiveoth instead of the keychain in built -in browser. I'm not a fan of built-in browsers. I have my main browser, and I want to navigate with this main browser, and I'm able to just log in with Hive-Oth. The important step, of course, is to set up the account in keychain. So download keychain, open the app, enter the username, paste in the active key, set a pin, and all that stuff. Also, we have some warnings, but I think less warnings is better. Also, I see a little issue on scrolling. I will fix this. But yeah, so this is the onboarding flow. It is quite simple. We will not do any... email sign-in stuff or any IP blocking or whatever because we know the people are at the event with this badge and they are allowed to create their own account. I will also automate the pending account action I have done in the background to create this, so they will have an even smoother experience. This is super, super simple in my opinion, and now when someone is scanning my badge, Of course, I will write now Tip Fox 420 here, but if someone is scanning my badge, they will get forwarded to my landing page. So they can go into my profile. Let's pick ECNC. Maybe ECNC is wrong. Yeah, EZNZC got an issue. So, PICT is showing my account, and now I can just start doing the stuff I want to do. So this is everything I wanted to show you if you are an event host, and you want to have these things. After the event, I will prepare and polish it up so other people can use it. (except for Los Pescadores in the schedule ยกNo me gustan! ๐) Just a few questions: Can the landing page detect the device and offer only Google Play / App Store downloads accordingly? It would look more professional. Will the new accounts get some RC/HP delegations? They might have troubles interacting with the chain otherwise. Can there be a Snapie registration option for those who prefer microblogging (perhaps in cooperation with @meno)?

@ph1102: Knowing all the fuss with the keys for newbies, the onboarding process looks fairly easy... I mean, easy as it could... I promise to polish the whole thing up and release it open source on the mantequilla soft github so anyone organizing a Hive meetup can use it. That's great news as I do have over 3.5K account claiming tokens... Maybe I could use them all at the future meetup events? ๐ See you soon!
