Hey everyone, Callan here, and in this video I'm going to be showing you how I built my Tesla machine. Now, I'm assuming that you've watched my previous video to this, which is called testing the Tesla machine, because I basically go into all the details of what's going on here, and this video is just the video of showing you how to put it together, the things that you're going to need and generally how you want to put it together, okay? So I'm not going to go into all the specific details about everything because I really want to encourage people to actually go and try and research these things themselves and understand what's going on before you actually do it. Because you're actually putting real live current, you're becoming part of an electrical circuit, an extremely high voltage, electrical circuit. While it's safe, if it's working correctly, if you do something wrong, it's not safe, okay? Also, while you're working on this thing, there are aspects of it, which if you touch it the wrong time, you might die, okay? So this is definitely not like something I'm saying, you should just go out and do, you know, just kind of try and follow what happened in this video without looking at anything else. That would be a very bad idea, okay? So anyways, it's kind of late in the day, the light's going to be going away soon, and I've had, like, today, I've worked about six hours out in, like, 90-degree weather, and I've been doing the Tesla machine basically all day, and, well, off and on, not all day, but, like, when I stop doing something, I'd go back and do it for a few minutes, and then go and do something else, okay? Normally, at the end of a day like this, I would not have any energy to... do a video or at least not enough where I would be like, oh yeah, I'll go do that, that'll be easy, and that's how I feel right now, and I think that's because of this Tesla machine. But anyways, last video, if you want to hear more about stuff like that, this video is about how to make it, okay? So first of all, as far as I know, this is basically a modified UDN coil. which is a modified Tesla coil. And they were used, Uden Coils will use over 100 years ago for several decades by medical professionals across the world to heal people, and then it was shut down by the United States government, okay? Now, what this is, is a modified Uden coil, and modified in several different ways, which I also talked about in the last video, okay? And Christian Amenifice... Marino, as far as I understand, is the person who has been involved the most in coming up with these improvements. Okay, and if you search that name, you can find various videos from him and even diagrams about how to build this, okay? And I'm going to show you a diagram on screen here, and you could just pause it and look at it. It's kind of low-res. I found it like in, you know, some random place and took a screenshot. But as far as I understand, this is pretty much the latest version that was published, or at least that I can get access to. But keep in mind that a lot of the stuff that is in this is not actually the same as what everyone is doing nowadays, okay? There's quite a bit that's different, okay? And I'm not going to go into and compare all the differences, I'm just going to show you the situation that I have going on here, okay? Okay, and then another thing. I didn't make this video, I could have made this video a few days ago, but my machine was broken, and I wanted to show you it working. I got it working again for about a day and a half, and then right when I was sitting down to film this video, I broke it again. And this time it was really my fault, okay? And it's not something that I can fix, and it's gonna take me probably a week or two to fix it. And I told you I'd have a video to you within a week, and I know there's people who are really eagerly waiting to see this. So I'm just gonna deal with not being able to prove to you that this works, that it turns on at least, you know what I mean? I promise you, like an hour ago, I was totally jive into this thing, right? Okay, so anyways, let's actually look at it. I've got it, this is my solar electric bike, and I got a trailer on it, and basically I'm going to be running this thing from my solar electric bike, right? And I brought it out here in this trailer, so anyways, here we go. Okay, so here's the e-bike, had this since 2018. I built this 35 amp hour battery myself. I have a video about that. This is a power inverter, which basically converts it into the normal plug that you would see at your house. Okay, so you wouldn't need any of this stuff. You just plug this into your house, right? I'll just drop that. Since we're not going to be turning it on, this thing right here is a... It converts your house electricity, so 110 volts if you're in America, to 12 volts, 15 amps, and it's regulated, okay? So regulated means that while you're running it, it's going to stay at 12 volts, 15 amps, pretty much no matter what's happening downstream, okay? And that's really important because this is basically... kind of boosting things, right? As we go down this line, we are boosting the voltage, and so small changes in amperage or voltage here creates a bigger difference down the line, okay? So we want to keep that steady. It also makes it safer, right, if something happens, and this thing just allows any amount of amperage to go through. This thing might pull a whole bunch, and it might pull it into you, okay? All right, so this is a... You have to buy... So you can get almost all of this stuff, in fact, yeah, I think pretty much all of this stuff, except for this thing, on Amazon, okay? So, and there's different versions of this that you can get, but you're probably going to want to get one like this, because, which has the power cord separate, you have to buy the power cord separately, and you plug it in here, because you're going to have two different outlets, okay? One outlet is going to go to the actual machine, and then when you put this in a box with fans, which would be ideal, then you're going to plug those into the other ones, okay? So this thing gives you an easier ability to do the fans. This thing is called a ZVS driver board, okay? So I'm not going to explain these two things, because you can just go and look these up and learn about them, and you don't need to understand anything about them, except that this needs 12 volts, 15 amps regulated, this needs to be connected to this, You see it has these spirals. This is a ferrite core right here, okay? And there are these wraps around it. And these are actually two different wraps, okay? There's, these are different, okay? So one is the one, if you buy it and it's already wrapped, then that'll be easier. Depending on where you buy it, you might have to do it yourself. That's not going to be as easy, okay? But if it is already wrapped, you take the one on the outside, you go to the outside on this one. Okay, there's three things here, right? Then the outside on the other side goes to the other outside, and then the two in the middle combine and go into the middle, okay? All right, so here's the next one. This is called a flyback. These are found in TVs and monitors. Ideally, you get one that's designed for 29 volts. I just found that out today. This one, I'm sorry, 29 inch screen. This is a 25, design for a 25 inch screen, which means that it can overheat. And there are things, like, in the diagram that I showed you, it has like an RF choke and a, a resistor, you know, over on this side, right? I think on both sides. somewhere around here, I can't remember exactly where, and that's to protect a situation where this is, you know, lower than 20, designed for a 29-inch monitor, okay? So it just means basically you probably don't want to run this for more than 45 minutes or so. It depends on how warm it is and how well ventilated you have, okay? Okay, so this thing is what's, this situation is what is generating very high voltage, like in the thousands, like maybe 5, 10, 15-ish, 1,000 volts, okay? And it is sending, so this is basically going to be a symmetrical system. One side is going out this side. This cable right here, when you buy this, it'll probably be longer. You don't need this, but when you cut it off, you probably should cover it. See, I've covered in electrical tape. So anyways, those come. over to here, okay? So now we're in a different box. This is where it starts getting interesting. Okay. So they connect to this central thing right here, and this is the spark gap, okay? And it's a triple spark gap. There's a gap right here, there's a gap right here, and there's a gap right here. And in order for the electricity to travel from here and through here back, along that line, has to reach roughly about, because this is going to be about 0 .4 to 0.5 millimeters each, right? And you add them up, and then you calculate how many volts is. I'm just going to say it's roughly 5 ,000 volts, okay? So this thing's supplying more than 5,000 volts. But when that comes in here, it's also feeling this capacitor tank, okay? You can think of this like a battery or a tank, okay? the whole system is not going right up to 15,000 volts, because it's got some stuff to do, right? So this is one of the things it's doing, is filling this central capacitor, and it's also filling these two capacitors over here, which are also connected, that's what these are, okay? This capacitor goes to here, and then it's also sending the energy all the way around, through that loop all the way back, okay? So anyways, once this whole system gets up to around 5,000 volts, electricity is going to jump, right? It's going to jump across. And now this is already, basically that's going to be creating a high frequency. alternating current, okay, because every time it jumps, it's going to switch directions, and these capacitors are going to all dump their load in the new direction, okay? So it's basically a big pulsing system, which is pulsing energy, back and forth AC, hundreds of thousands of times, to a couple of millions of times a second, okay, through this whole system. Okay, so now we've got... We've got it coming through, by the way, this is where it broke. I broke my capacitor, you see? No way to fix this! So anyways, it goes on these lines. Now, these lines are actually two different circuits here, in a way, they're also connected, it's a little bit complicated, but here's the white wire, this is the thick, this is the primary coil, okay? Then this red one, and this black one, They're both secondary coils and they're not really different from each other, okay? Because it's a symmetrical system, right? They're just, you know, back and forth between them, okay? But I like to have one color and one knot because it helps me know, like, for example, you don't want these cables to touch each other because that's going to complete the circuit, because the voltage is so high, it is going to jump across this tiny insulation. Okay, and then if these are bumping up against each other and you're trying to use the light bulbs, you're going to get way less energy because a lot of the energy is going through just because these things are touching each other, okay? You can also just touch this wire, and you will see electricity. You don't even have to touch it, you can get close to it, and you'll see the electricity jump across into your finger, okay? So anyways, this is the coolest part. Okay, so normally you would have like a four or five, six foot tower, which is like a couple feet, maybe three feet in diameter, and it's, you know, wrapped in... copper coil all the way up, okay, and different types of coil, you've got all these tuning resonators and all these types of things. That's still a good thing to use, and it might even be better than this, but considering how compact and convenient this is, and something that anyone can pretty much put together, this is pretty ingenious, and, you know, I haven't seen anything like this looking back at the old literature on the Uden coils, okay? So anyways, you can see the secondary coils come in and they connect to the capacitors along with the primary coil. Secondary and primary coil connect to the capacitor, okay? They come, they are attached to each other as they come along. Okay, now this goes in here and it wraps. around, and as it's wrapping, I believe this one is the top one, okay? As this is wrapping, this is going downwards, okay? And it's going to come out over here, right? And what I did, 14 turns, okay? So people do it differently, but I chose to do 14. This is roughly 7 inches across in diameter, okay? So 14 turns of the primary, both coming out on the same side. but keeping away from each other, okay? Because these also are connecting two sides, like, they'd be kind of shorting this system, right, if they could jump. This is thicker insulation, so it would probably be a little bit harder for them to do that. But, like, I wouldn't even touch this thing. I touched this because this is the secondary coil, but this is already getting pretty close to this, and this is death, okay? I'm not saying that if you touch this, you'll die, but... If you were to test the copper in here and connect two points, this energy in here is way intense, okay? You don't want to be exposed to that, and it might be so strong voltage that if you were even go like this, it would spark to you, okay? I don't know, I don't want to test it. I don't recommend... Well, you could do it. If you do it, tell me what happens, if you live. Okay, so anyways, the other, the secondary coil comes in with its, you know, with one side of the primary, and when it... actually meets the coil while the primary coil goes this way, okay? This one actually is going to bend over on itself and go this way, okay? And it may seem like, oh, now we're going the opposite directions, but actually, if you think about it, you're actually continuing a continuous circle in the same direction with all three basically continuing on, you know, basically like a relay, okay? Like, they're passing on the circular... thing in the same direction, okay? So this guy needs to suddenly go here, this way, and it needs to be coming up, okay? So where the actual, so this is the, where this goes to the light bulb, and it's on the top, okay? And the same exact thing for the black, okay, so the black comes in with its primary. and it splits and goes the opposite direction. So the primary goes this way, the secondary, changes direction, goes this way, and wraps downwards, and comes out and goes to the other light bulb, okay? And before it gets to the light bulb, so you're going to need to buy a, basically, a light socket extender, okay, and then you're going to want to... This end would have had something you could screw into a light socket, and then you would have another thing, you know, off the end of this cord where you could screw in a light bulb, right? So I cut that off, and then I just attached it to the end of this cable. You want this to be rated for about 85 volts, though honestly, so high voltage, it comes out of here anyways, okay, but you want to try and get as much insulation as possible. Because when these things touch, you know, they may, they're going to draw away from each other, but they might not draw all of it away, you know, it's complicated because, you know, anyways, I won't even go into all that type of stuff, but basically don't cross these cables. You definitely don't want this coming in contact with the black, okay? Okay, so we're going to come talk about this section a little bit more, okay? So these are the two kind of main capacitors. The old Uden circuits had capacitors, two capacitors, which in between the outputs and the rest of the machine, okay, and there's lots of reasons why they did that. I believe this is a new thing that Christian introduced, or is something recent, okay? This is a third capacitor, which is essentially in series between them, and it has a smaller, capacitance than these, which means it stores less energy than these, okay? So it is, because of how capacitors work, this is taking most of the stress of the high voltage, and these are taking less, okay? So this is rated for 30,000 volts, just in case, okay? And these are, mine, okay, mine are rated for 10,000, which the old diagrams show is basically what they recommend, 10,000 volts, but really they should be probably more like 15, okay? And, you know, now I'm going to have to buy some new ones, so I'll probably improve this situation when I do that. Okay, so now we're going to have a little bit of a chat about capacitors, because this is kind of the element which I had the most challenge with. There's some things that you need to know about this. Now, a capacitor is basically like a battery, stores energy in the electric field, and... The difference is that it can discharge its entire contents instantly, okay? So a battery can't do that. If a battery did that, it would be destroyed. If you drain a battery to zero, it would probably not ever charge up again. This is instant, okay? And it also charges very quickly too, okay? So that's what a capacitor is. This main capacitor, the central capacitor, needs to be around 1,000 pico ferrods, okay? A pico ferrod is very, very small, but the thing is we're dealing with very high voltage, and so even though it's very small, it is still very strong, okay? It's like a pressure washer is a very tiny amount of water, but very high pressure and destroys things, okay? So, just because this has small storage, doesn't mean, or capacitance, doesn't mean that this can't mess you up. and it can mess you up, okay? And speaking of which, another thing about capacitors is that when you turn off the machine, they don't necessarily discharge instantly. And sometimes it might take quite a long time before they do. Okay, so if you turned off your machine and came back and put your finger here, you're going to get a serious zap, okay? Like, it may injure you badly, and you're not going to be happy about it, okay? So if you ever are going to go in and touch your machine, Well, I'll show you that when we get to the spark gap, but you need to basically drain the whole system, okay? That's just taken by touching a wire to two points to just, you know, discharge everything, okay? This is a UHV, it's a TDK, I think, yeah, TDK, UHV4A, okay? And I looked it up. you know, and I asked the AIs and said, is this thing going to work for a Tesla coil or an Uden coil? And these things are pretty smart, you know, and they were like, yes, this is going to work, okay? And I found a deal where there was like four of these in one batch, so I can make three more Tesla machines, and I'm probably going to end up doing that, you know, maybe even just for myself, okay? Or maybe I'll just keep them for if I need them later, okay? So this happens to be, you can get capacitors that, or 30,000 volts. and also at the right capacitance, but will not work for this, okay? In fact, most capacitors will not work for this. You have to get specific kinds, and you really should just find a specific, ask, ask an AI or something, or get the ones, okay, so I'm going to show you the ones that Christian recommends that you use in his old chart, okay, he, he, what are they called? I think they're the Weema FKP1s or something like that. In his old design, he recommends, they're 2 ,000 volts, and you basically put them in series to increase the voltage, so every extra one in series is adding. So if you had two in series, it's 4,000 volts, 3 in series, it's 6 ,000 volts, and that's just increasing the amount of volts it can handle before it explodes, okay? But when you do that, it's a strange thing about... putting capacitors in series, when you put them in series, every single one reduces the total capacity of the whole thing. So if you add two in…
