One of the brands I’ve worked with in the past, XREXS, sent me this little device for a review. I’ve actually done one of these in the past, but for a slightly different whistle. The main differenc...

This is a beautiful electronic whistle. It's a multi-purpose electronic whistle. First, let's see what it comes with. So everything in the bag laid out on the table here. So, of course, there's the bag itself, which is a nice polyester bag with a draw strap there to keep everything in. This is a strap, so this could be a neck strap or wrist strap to keep it nice and secure. They use a manual to tell you what all the... instructions are how to actually control this device. It comes with two batteries. So those are AAA batteries, which are easily replaced. Those are widely available. So you can see three sliding buttons over there, all doing different things. Okay, let me just turn it around so you can see. All right, so the first one here, that controls the tone of the whistle. The one in the middle controls the volume. So it's got off. low, medium, loud, and the bottom there controls the LED light that serves as a kind of flashlight. So you have the O, the A or the M setting, so I'm going to show you what those are. At the O setting, the light is off. At the A setting, it responds to the whistle. Okay, you can see the LED light up there when I press it. and at the M setting, at the LED is just permanently on, as you can see. Okay? So that's actually quite nice. I've tested that at night. It's just as bright as something you get out of a smartphone. So the LED light of your smartphone, that's kind of how bright it is. So it's... not the brightest in the world. Obviously, it's not a main flashlight, but that's just there for, you know, it's good to have, okay? So, if you find yourself in the dark somewhere, this would actually be able to illuminate sufficiently, okay? I'll just turn that off for now. So now, the volume is set to high. So let me just press that again. Okay, but you can have medium, and you can have low. and off. Okay? And then let's test the tones on low. So that's the first tone you already heard. Here's another tone. That's tone number two. And tone number one. That's kind of a pulsing tone. So, multi-purpose and very, very... a handy the strap goes here at the base here you can see there's a little hole there that's where the strap goes so you can suspend that around your neck or around your wrist
