Akiyo Mini Projectors Review | 01 vs 02 by @adetorrent on 3Speak

I received more projectors from a brand I’d worked with in the past. This time I was actually sent two of them to compare. The 01 version and the 02 version are two of their mini projectors targete...

In this video, I'm going to compare the Akio Mini Projector 01 to the Mini Projector O2. These are two of the hottest mini projectors at the moment, and if you want to make up your mind between the two, then this is the video for you. I'm not necessarily going to dive into too much technical detail. I'm just going to stay on the sort of decision level for most people, so they understand what these projectors are. are art, okay? So basically both of these are affordable compact projectors, where the O1 focuses on simple, straightforward projection, while the O2 adds some smart features that makes it more convenient to watch content. Now, more is not necessarily better, so make sure you watch the video to the end to get a good idea of which one is better for you. So as aforementioned, the O1 is designed for projection only. It doesn't come with like an Android TV or any of that sort of stuff. It does have software to play things off a media card like a USB key or flash drive. I'm going to talk about that later. But it doesn't do any of that heavy lifting stuff. What it does and does very well is just projecting things that you give to it. And it's got a myriad of ways that you can give said things to it to project. On the other hand, The O2 comes with an inbuilt, Android-based sort of like a TV system, like an Android TV, and you can log in with your Google account and access some of your old stuff, and also provides different methods of watching via approved streaming services. So that's pretty much the fundamental difference. In terms of portability and power supply, they both come with their own bespoke. power solution, so they come with a power bricks with proprietary plugs, they're not USBC, so you have to have the specific power plug for each. Also, they come with their own remotes that are not compatible with each other because they have slightly different functions on the remotes. Apart from that, they both come with HMI cables and everything else that you need. Now, physically speaking, in terms of design and portability, the O1 is very small. light and easy to move around between rooms and pop in a bag, etc. Some people might think that that form factor is more sort of portable than this because it's more sort of narrow and can fit into a bag better. However, you know, the difference is not that much in terms of portability between the two, they're both quite light. The O1 is slightly lighter than the O2. but only just, you're not going to really notice that much of a difference in terms of weight, but if you hold them in your hands, you could sort of almost tell, but for most people, the weight is about the same. The O2 is also highly portable, like I've shown. Some people actually prefer that cylindrical shape, and of course, you know, you don't have to have it in that position to be in your bag, you can just do it this way, and it fits into your bag or whatever easier, okay? Now, in terms of... rotation, as you can see I'm pointing both of them up, which means they can both project to the ceiling. However, the 01 has a little bit more rotation than the O2, in that it has 360 degree rotation. So in terms of where it can point, it's more flexible in that way. However, if you think about standing this, you only can really do 180 degrees anyway. And this one, also does 180 degrees so you can point that in any direction without having to move the projector from its current location. So, like I said before, both of them can be pointed at the ceiling, but they can also be suspended from the ceiling, so they could be mounted on the ceiling. For the O2, the screw mount is on the base. For the O1, the screw mount is actually on the body of the projector, so bear that in mind. However, in software, in the device itself, For both of them, you can flip the image around to make hanging on ceilings easy. So that's particularly attractive for people who want to use them in bedrooms, as a lot of people like to mount their projectors on the ceiling when they're in the bedrooms. It's also worth mentioning that none of this has a battery in it, so you have to have them plugged in for them to work, and also they're not USBC, they have their own proprietary plugs. So in terms of portability and the ability to carry them around, they're about equal in that respect. Now, let's move on to picture quality. Now, this is the place where the O2 slightly outshines the O1, but not necessarily when it comes to resolution, because they're both native 720P resolution, so the output resolution is the same. However, the input that they can take slightly different, which can affect the actual quality and look and feel. of the output. So the O1 has a native resolution of 720p, however, can take in up to 1080p input video. So the source can be 1080p and it would output it at 720p. In my opinion, somehow, if you input at 180p, the 720p output looks better than if you input a 720p video. The mechanics of that, I don't know, but that's just my own anecdotal. experience. The O2, on the other hand, also has native 720p, but you can take up to a 4K image into this device, and it would project it, albeit at 720p, but again, just like the O1, I found that the quality of the output actually looks better if the quality of the input is better. So there's some sort of process and advantage there. Another thing that the O2 slightly edges over the O1, is in its brightness. So the O1 comes in at a 15 ,000 lumens, while the O2 comes in at 18,000 lumens. Now, in a dark room, you're not going to actually notice that much of a difference, but if, you know, it was in the middle of the day and the curtains were slightly open, they have a little sort of light coming from somewhere else, then the O2 slightly outshines the O1 in that respect. For most people, however, I don't think that they're going to see that much of a difference. Remember, these are designed for casual use in your bedroom. They're not necessarily designed for big auditoriums or business presentations, etc. So here are the projectors side by side. On the left here is the 01. On the right is the O2, and they're sort of the same distance from the wall, but you can see that the O2 project a larger screen. than the O1, but you can see that the brightness is relatively similar. They're not that dissimilar from each other, but you can see that the O2 is marginally lighter and brighter, but both are sharp and very bright in the dark. If you look at the text there, the text is very, very sharp, very sharp, easy to read. Usually you can tell by the text. When they're flat like this and they're not projected at an angle, then all of the screen is sharp. You don't get the edges that sort of taper away with some of these other projectors. So I'm going to go ahead and angle them up slightly so you can see the keystone correction. So I'm going to start with this. You can see that it just corrects itself. And it does it very quickly as well, which is quite impressive. The same with this. It corrects itself nicely. As you can see, all right, let me just, I haven't got it held to anything, so it's not exactly straight, but you get the general idea. So this is the app, it's called Lumina Go. As you can see, it just looks like a remote. It probably has even more functions than a typical remote, and you can see there the OK button and the directional buttons. I'm just going to control it so you can see what happens on the screen. Keyboard, touchpad. AI voice activation, but let me just control it from here, you can see. You see, it just works like any other remote. There might be some slight latency, obviously because it's going over Bluetooth, but it's completely manageable. Now let's talk about the smart features. Now, this is where, of course, the O2 beautifully shines because there are no smart features in the O1. However, it's not, again, necessarily a deal breaker for some. So the O1 has no built-in streaming app platform whatsoever. So it connects to a video source. So you have to connect it to something like your phone, your computer, your DVD player files or image files or whatever it is you want to display on something like a USB key or a TF card. So you have input for that. There is no wireless access to this. So you cannot screencast it via wireless as far as I can see. However, It is compatible with something like an Amazon fire stick or a Rokul stick or something like that, and take on the power of whatever it is that you give it. Also, the USB port here, I've tested it, and it has enough power to power an Amazon fire stick or Rokul stick, so you don't have to connect it to a different power source. So that's always good to know. but it is a beautiful, straightforward, do-what -what-it-type device, a no-nonsense device, you plug in your video source, your image source, your file source, and it displays it on the board. Now, when it comes to display, the focus is manual, and you do so from the side here. Now, moving on to the O2 projector, it comes with an Android-based operating system that is basically an Android TV, so you can have YouTube, Prime Video, and some other... apps that you have on there. I think depending on your region, the apps that you can install are different. You can log in into your account and access some of the files that you have online. You can connect a Bluetooth keyboard because it comes with Bluetooth 5.4. It's got built-in Wi-Fi, so you can connect this to your home Wi-Fi network or your phone or any hotspot and take advantage of existing files on your network, etc. So it's built more as a... more robust system in terms of the ability to play files. It's completely independent of a phone or computer or a DVD player or any of that sort of stuff. The Bluetooth 5.4 also helps when it comes to the next thing I'm going to talk about, which is the sound. And of course, this basically is designed to be a complete system without having to depend on a phone or anything like that. Once you have internet connection, then you are good to go. Now, when it comes to ease of setup, Both are very, very easy to set up. It took me less than five minutes to get it from unboxing to fully using it. You turn it on and it steps you through the process. With the O2, it steps through the process of actually signing up to your network, if you want to, your Wi-Fi. But of course, you can use it without that as well as just a projector like this one. If you don't want to connect to Wi -Fi and utilize the online services, like streaming apps and stuff like that. Another thing that does, which is now a new thing I announced in the beginning, is it gives you a QR code to scan so you can download the Android or iOS app for controlling this like a remote, which solves one of the problems that I pointed out in my original video. If you look at this, O-1, that's one of the advantages that I pointed out. You will see that it's got actual physical controls on the box, so if you were to ever lose the remote control, you can still operate this directly from the actual device. If you look at this though, no physical controls. So you absolutely 100% need the remote, or you did until now. Now you have the app, you can download the app, and you can actually control this through your phone app. So that's a huge upgrade and makes this more usable, and it takes away some of the worries and some of the apprehensions that people had with this device originally. Now, moving on to another important part. and major difference between these two, and depending on who you are and what you like, your choice might differ. And that's the sound. Now, the both come with built-in speakers that are comparable to each other. So I can't tell which one is better, they sound roughly the same to me. And in terms of loudness and quality, it's comparable to something that you expect from a phone or tablet. So that kind of... volume and quality of sound, which is enough for a person or a couple of people in a quiet environment, in a private bedroom, whatnot. That is good enough, but if you have a lot of people or, you know, you're in a bigger environment or a noisier environment, then you might want to augment the sound in a different way. Now, the O1 does not have Bluetooth, so it has no Bluetooth options or no wireless options when it comes to sound, but it does have... a 3.5 millimeter, the old school audio port there, so you can connect any legacy system through there, an auxiliary machine of any kind, be it headphones or speakers or some kind of mixer or whatever. So you can pass the audio into a separate device, let that handle your audio. Now, old school wired audio. obviously is usually superior to wireless communication, even though it's less convenient than something like Bluetooth. On the other hand, this device doesn't have any auxiliary ports for audio, but it does have Bluetooth 5.4, which means you can connect it. wirelessly to any Bluetooth system. Again, you can use headphones. I use headphones with ease because it's just easier because normally I'm just watching it by myself. But if you're, you know, if you've got company or you're watching it with other people, then you can connect that to your Bluetooth speakers for a better audio. Both will give high quality audio through auxiliary systems or Bluetooth systems. But if you don't have that, of course, you have the inbuilt systems, okay? So the takeaway is this. Depending on who you are, what systems you already have in place, you might pick the 01 or the 02. Now, you might pick the 01 if you already have a DVD player or some kind of computer or... you know, you just want to plug a tablet of phone to this and then display that, you can carry that around with you, or you already have an audio system to plug it into, then you might actually pick this one. Some people will pick this projector over that one just because of the audio, right? However, if you want to log in into some kind of Android TV, you want the streaming services, you want to watch YouTube without having to connect your phone, you want to watch Netflix and things like that, you can use this one, okay? There are even possibilities of installing games on there. I haven't done that myself, but I've seen other people do so, but both of them will happily connect your Amazon Firestick, your Roku stick, or any similar device. So depending on your choices, you can pick the 01 or the 02. If you're interested in getting any of these devices, Check out links to these in the description. They are affiliate links, which means I might get a commission if your purchase qualifies. Thank you for watching. I'll see you the next one.

@bpcvoter2: bilpcoin bpc truth The Architecture of Echoes Agreement is not absolution. You may gather your colleagues. You may secure the assent of those who work for you, who rely upon you, who dare not speak against you. You may construct a chamber of echoes and call it truth. You may tell yourself that because many agree, the act is cleansed. That because no one speaks, no one sees. But truth does not live in chambers. It lives in light. On a blockchain, there is no dimmer switch. Every vote, every delegation, every transfer is timestamped and hashed and replicated across a thousand nodes, across continents, across time. You do not write in sand here. You write in stone that cannot be un carved. Complicity is not conscience. A rule written only to be broken is not a rule at all—it is a confession, carved in plain sight. And everyone can see it. Not someday. Now. The Gardener’s Choice There are two ways to tend a garden. The first is to plant, to water, to wait with patience for the slow miracle of growth. To protect the tender shoots from wind and weather. To know that the harvest will come in its own time, and that your hands have helped bring it forth. The second is to take. To pull the fruit before it is ripe. To salt the earth so that nothing else may grow. To call this harvest "curation" while the garden dies around you. The blockchain shows us which gardeners are which. It shows us who planted and who took. It shows us who built and who burned. Choose your hands wisely. The garden remembers. The Call to Action See the Pattern You cannot hide the truth on a blockchain. The ledger remembers every vote, every delegation, every transfer. Follow the money. Trace the delegations from @guiltyparties to @spaminator @acidyo @ocd @ocdb @freedom @adm @alpha. Watch the voting patterns of @buildawhale @themarkymark @usainvote and @jacobtothe. Expose the laundering loops of @exchangein and @xchangeout. Withdraw Support If you are delegating to these accounts, recall your power. Starve the beast. If you are upvoting their content, stop. Deny them the rewards they seek. If you are silent, speak. Tag the truth. Use the hashtags: GuiltyPartiesScam BuildawhaleFarm HiveCartel Themarkymarkscam Acidyoscam BilpcoinTruth. @acidyo and @ocdb: The Reward Mills @acidyo and @ocdb serve as the reward mills for the cartel. They receive massive delegations from @smooth.witness and @roadscape , then distribute tiny fractions to a network of "curators" like @redditposh and @poshtoken.wallet . These curators then upvote the cartel’s content, creating a self reinforcing cycle of rewards. The blockchain shows thousands of micro transactions, each labeled as "curation rewards," but in reality, they are kickbacks for loyalty. The Myth of Decentralization On the Hive blockchain, every transaction is etched into the immutable ledger. There are no off book deals. There are no whispered conspiracies that vanish with the morning light. There is only the chain. Yet, some behave as if the ledger is blind. They cast their negative votes into the void, expecting them to vanish like smoke. They farm the rewards, expecting no one to notice the harvest growing richer while the soil grows barren. But the blockchain remembers. It records the rhythm of the downvote farm. It tracks the flow of delegated power. It notes the coordinated cadence of the suppression. The Super Farm: @buildawhale @acidyo @themarkymark @adm @usainvote @alpha @letusbuyhive @meno @solominer @gogreenbuddy @acidyo @hurtlocker @jacobtothe @guiltyparties and @spaminator The Investigative Mindset Curiosity is the engine of both journalism and happiness. Instead of judging, investigate. Instead of assuming, ask. Why did that person react that way? Why do I feel this anxiety? What is the root cause? Judgment closes doors. Curiosity opens them. Success comes from understanding systems. Happiness comes from understanding people. Today, be an investigator of your own life. Dig deeper. The truth is usually more interesting than the assumption. The Fact Check of Self Talk We tell ourselves stories: I’m not smart enough. I’m too old. It’s too late. These are not facts. They are opinions disguised as truths. A good reporter checks the facts. Today, fact check your negative self talk. Where is the evidence? Usually, there is none. Only fear. Replace the opinion with data. I have learned hard things before. I have adapted. I am capable. Truth is liberating. Lie to yourself, and you build a prison. Speak truth, and you build a foundation. The Byline of Identity Who are you when the job title is removed? When the parent role is paused? When the social media profile is deleted? We often confuse our function with our essence. But you are not your output. You are the observer, the creator, the human beneath the role. Success is doing good work. Happiness is knowing you are good, regardless of the work. Today, introduce yourself without your titles. Just your name. Just your presence. It is enough. The Economy of Attention Attention is the scarcest resource of the 21st century. Every app, every advertiser, every politician is mining it. If you do not curate your attention, someone else will monetize it. Success is the ability to focus deeply in a distracted world. Happiness is the ability to notice beauty in a chaotic one. Today, go on an attention strike. Give your focus only to what earns it. A child’s question. A complex problem. A sunset. Stop paying rent to distractions. The Stone's Memory Stone remembers. Carve your name into it, and it will hold that name long after you are dust. Build a monument, and it will stand long after the builders are forgotten. Etch a law, and it will endure long after the lawmakers are gone. The blockchain is stone. Not the soft stone that can be reshaped, but the hard, crystalline stone that holds its form forever. Every transaction is a carving. Every delegation is a monument. Every vote is a law. What are you carving into the stone? What monument are you building? What law are you writing? The stone will remember. Long after you are gone, your marks will remain. Choose them wisely. The Silence After the Storm After the downvotes fall, there is silence. Not the peaceful silence of rest, but the heavy silence of suppression. The silence of voices that wanted to speak but found their words crushed beneath the weight of coordinated malice. The silence of creators who wanted to build but found their foundations pulled away. This silence is not peace. It is the sound of a community being suffocated. It is the sound of truth being buried. It is the sound of freedom being extinguished, one downvote at a time. But listen closely. Beneath the silence, you can hear something else: the quiet, unyielding hum of the blockchain, recording everything, waiting for the storm to pass. The silence will not last. The truth will rise again. The Practice of Patience We want results yesterday. But meaningful success takes time. Seeds do not sprout the day they are planted. Today, trust your timeline. Do the work. Wait well. Patience is not passive waiting; it is active faith. Keep tending. The harvest will come. The Archive of Memory We remember not what happened, but what we attended to. Memory is not a recording; it is an editor. To archive happiness, you must curate what you revisit. Do not dwell on the wound; dwell on the scar, on the strength it forged. Do not replay the failure; replay the resilience. Today, choose one memory to preserve. Not the perfect moment. The human one. File it with care. It will sustain you. The Discipline of Delight Delight is not frivolous. It is neurological medicine. Laughter, beauty, playfulness—they lower cortisol, widen perspective, restore cognitive flexibility. We treat joy as a luxury, but it is a necessity. Success without joy is a hollow victory. Happiness without structure is a fleeting mood. Today, schedule delight as you would a meeting. Step outside. Listen to music that moves you. Train your nervous system to recognize that life is not just to be endured, but inhabited. The Myth of the Solo Triumph We romanticize the lone genius, but every visible achievement rests on invisible hands: mentors, friends, strangers who held space, ancestors who survived. Success is a chorus. Happiness is a shared hearth. To archive either, you must acknowledge the chorus. Thank the quiet contributors. Lift others as you climb. The ladder is an illusion. We are all climbing the same mountain, just different paths. The Weight of Permanence Consider the weight of a single decision made permanent. Not the fleeting regret of a spoken word that fades into air, but the crystalline permanence of a transaction etched into cryptographic stone. Every choice you make on the blockchain is a monument. Build wisely, for it will outlast you. The Cost Lies are expensive. They cost trust. They cost community. They cost the future of the very thing the liars claim to love. Truth costs nothing. It only requires the courage to speak it and the willingness to hear it. Today, invest in truth. It is the only currency that never depreciates. The Question Ask yourself: Why are users leaving Hive? Not because the technology failed. Not because the market turned. But because the people who hold the most power chose extraction over community, suppression over welcome, and lies over truth. The answer is on the blockchain. Go find it. The Whisper Truth does not need to shout. It only needs to exist. While the whales cast their downvotes and label investigators as "spammers," the blockchain quietly records their actions. The whisper of the ledger is louder than the roar of their denial. Today, listen to the whisper. The Alternative Another World Is Possible They tell you there is no alternative. They tell you this is the only game in town. They tell you to accept the extraction, the suppression, the lies. But another world is possible. A world where creation is rewarded. Where truth is protected. Where power is distributed. Where freedom is structural. Today, imagine it. Then build it. For in the end, the most radical act is to believe that another world is possible. The Ghost Accounts The Faces Behind the Masks @kriborin. @lessys. @arsahk. @buildawhale. @ipromote. @azircon @solominer @gogreenbuddy @ipromote @freedom @acidyo @jacobtothe @cwow2 @letusbuyhive @themarkymark @rollingbones @meno . @poshtoken. @ocdb. @smooth. These are not just usernames. They are nodes in a network. bilp
