For our abdominal exercises to be effective, we must take into account that we must put pressure on the stomach muscles, not force other parts of our body and tighten the stomach while performing the movement.![image.png]()
Another element that we must take into account when doing sit-ups is the way we breathe. When exercising the abdomen the correct way to breathe is to inhale before lifting the torso and begin to exhale as we begin to contract the muscles of the middle of the body to lift the torso.
