Cuando estaba en la preparación de La Parranda de Hive, pensé en que, de la misma manera que estaba haciendo esa canción, podía hacerlo con mi grupo profesional, Los Cañoneros, grupo que ha estado inactivo por cuestiones de la pandemia.

Así que apenas terminé de grabar y publicar la primera, me di a la tarea de convocar a los músicos del grupo, pasarle sus partituras y la base midi, para que grabaran encima de ella.

Aunque creo que hubiera sido más bonito publicar este tema a principios de diciembre, para que alegrara durante todo el mes las actividades navideñas, me pareció que también sería significativo publicarla el el día de la víspera de navidad.

Se trata de una selección de algunas de las parrandas más conocidas popularizadas por el grupo "Un Solo Pueblo" y por el "Grupo Vera": "La matica", "Sereno, sereno", "Córrela", "Vamonos muchachos" y "Viva Venezuela", tocadas en su ritmo original de parranda, pero con el sonido caraqueño o cañonero.

¡Por supuesto, toda la mezcla, edición, etc. fue hecha por mí!

Con este "Cohetón de Parrandas", les deseo, junto a Los Cañoneros, muchísima felicidad en estas navidades, que ante todo se imponga la salud, el bienestar y la prosperidad.

When I was in preparation for Hive's Parranda, I thought that, just like I was doing that song, I could do it with my professional group, Los Cañoneros, a group that has been inactive because of the pandemic.

So as soon as I finished recording and publishing the first one, I took the task of calling the musicians of the group, passing them their scores and the midi base, so that they could record over it.

Although I think it would have been nicer to publish this song at the beginning of December, so that it would brighten up the whole month of Christmas activities, I thought it would also be significant to publish it on Christmas Eve.

It is a medley of some of the most famous parrandas popularized by the group "Un Solo Pueblo" and by "Grupo Vera": "La matica", "Sereno, sereno", "Córrela", "Vamonos muchachos" and "Viva Venezuela", played in their original parranda rhythm, but with the Caracas or cañonero sound.

Of course, all the mix, edition and so on, made by me!

With this "Cohetón de Parrandas"(Fireworks rocket of Parrandas), I wish you, together with Los Cañoneros, a lot of happiness this Christmas, that above all health, wellbeing and prosperity prevail.
