Once again I am happy to share in the Hive Open Mic Week #174, where we explore the theme: "Beacon Of Light", chosen by our community's friend and recent featured artist: @gloriaolar. Today, I'm performing "I See the Light" on my trumpet, a pop song from the 2010 Disney animated film Tangled, composed by Alan Menken and Glenn Slater. The lyrics are a beautiful ballad about the power of love. Rapunzel sings about how her life has been spent in a tower, dreaming of the day he would see the world. When Flynn enters his life, he finally sees the light he's been dreaming of. Danna Paola and Chayanne's version in Spanish is very beautiful. This piece of music is slow in pace and moderate in tempo. The main key is D major, with a change to A major in the chorus. The song is written in the form of a ballad, with two verses and a chorus. It uses a chord progression I, V, vi, and IV called the plagal cadence. This type of cadence is often associated with a sense of calm, serenity, or hope.

Hoy interpreto con mi trompeta «I See the Light», una canción de genero pop de la película animada de Disney de 2010 Tangled, compuesta por Alan Menken y Glenn Slater. La letra es una hermosa balada sobre el poder del amor. Rapunzel canta sobre cómo ha pasado su vida en una torre, soñando con el día en que vería el mundo. Cuando Flynn entra en su vida, finalmente ve la luz con la que había estado soñando. La versión de Danna Paola y Chayanne en español es muy bonita.
