When it comes to the Liverpool Quartet, I feel great emotion. I love playing his music, I love the melodies, the rhythms and the harmony of his songs. Their music has influenced all generations after them. Even the detractors, since some try to separate from what they did, but without a doubt they are the starting point. Today I want to share my interpretation with the trumpet of "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" by The Beatles Band, this song is a mixture of pop and ska, and was composed by Paul McCartney and the collaboration of John Lennon . The meaning of this phrase from the song is “Life goes on”. I recorded the piece at night, I had to make some arrangements to improve the lighting. My mother bought a rechargeable lamp and this was the perfect opportunity to use it. If there is an audiovisual aspect that I want to improve, it is the lighting, I am going to take some time to study the subject and soon I will share my experience with you.
When I listen to the lyrics of the song, I find it really inspiring. And it is that he talks about people who do everyday things, it is not difficult to feel empathy. Life has its challenges, and it is that, just as there are good things, there are bad things. I associate it with a race with obstacles, those tests allow us to appreciate the good and learn from our mistakes. When one encounters these difficulties in life, it is time to have a positive attitude and tell ourselves that life goes on. I remember when I was a child my father would pretend that he had seen me fall, so I would look for him to see where I was and since I had no one to complain and cry with, so he would pick me up, brush the dust off my clothes and continue playing. I don't know how you consider it today, but that helped me develop resilience, and overcome my obstacles without depending on anyone. Being a musician is not an easy path, we encounter obstacles, we fall, we get up, we dust ourselves off and we keep going.
Desmond has a barrow in the marketplace
Molly is the singer in a band
Desmond says to Molly, "Girl, I like your face"
And Molly says this as she takes him by the hand
Ob-la-di, ob-la-da
Life goes on, brah
La, la, how the life goes on
Ob-la-di, ob-la-da
Life goes on, brah
La, la, how the life goes on
Desmond takes a trolley to the jeweler's store
Buys a 20 carat golden ring (ring)
Takes it back to Molly waiting at the door
And as he gives it to her, she begins to sing (sing)
Ob-la-di, ob-la-da (la, la, la, la, la, la)
Life goes on, brah (la, la, la, la, la, la)
La, la, how the life goes on
Ob-la-di, ob-la-da (la, la, la, la, la, la)
Life goes on, brah (la, la, la, la, la, la)
La, la, how the life goes on (yeah)
In a couple of years
They have built a home, sweet home
With a couple of kids running in the yard
Of Desmond and Molly Jones (ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha)
Happy ever after in the market place
Desmond lets the children lend a hand (arm, leg)
Molly stays at home and does her pretty face
And in the evening, she still sings it with the band (yes)
Ob-la-di, ob-la-da
Life goes on, brah
La, la, how the life goes on (hey)
Ob-la-di, ob-la-da
Life goes on, brah
La, la, how the life goes on
In a couple of years
They have built a home, sweet home
With a couple of kids running in the yard
Of Desmond and Molly Jones (hey)
Happy ever after in the market place
Molly lets the children lend a hand
Desmond stays at home and does his pretty face
And in the evening, she's a singer with the band (yeah)
Ob-la-di, ob-la-da
Life goes on, brah
La, la, how the life goes on (hey)
Ob-la-di, ob-la-da
Life goes on, brah
La, la, how the life goes on
And if you want some fun
Take Ob-la-di-bla-da
Thank you
