Alto's Odyssey: An Unstoppable Camel in the Desert [ENG - ESP]

After unlocking Felipe, one of the most charismatic and peculiar skateboard racers in the desert, I found myself in the extreme situation of a more difficult pastime video game, even though the scenarios and levels seem the same. Like any good endless runner title, Alto's Odyssey requires the player to accomplish three objectives to advance to the next level, unlock new skaters, and of course, achieve victory. This is far from easy, even for the best fans, like me. However, I love the hard stuff, maybe that's why Felipe is unstoppable; I've passed some of my stubbornness on to him, and I admit I'm to blame.

Después de desbloquear a Felipe, uno de los corredores en patineta más carismáticos y peculiares del desierto, me vi envuelto en la extrema situación de un videojuego de pasatiempos más difícil, muy a pesar de que los escenarios y niveles parezcan iguales. Como todo buen título de corredor infinito, Alto's Odyssey exige al jugador cumplir con tres objetivos para pasar al siguiente nivel, desbloquear nuevos patinadores y por supuesto, lograr la victoria. Esto no es nada fácil, incluso para los mejores fanáticos, como yo. Sin embargo, lo difícil me encanta, quizás por eso Felipe es imparable; le he pasado parte de mi terquedad, admito que tengo la culpa.

I have been playing Alto's Odyssey for more than a year, In situations without so many occupations I would have already passed this video game, but even so, I have made a lot of progress. Note that this Infinite Runner title has not bored me, playing for more than a year. Yes, it is possible when there is good gameplay! Alto's is a good option to enjoy to the extreme even though we only do pirouettes through the desert. I have to admit that the aesthetics are the element that deserves the trophy here. This is being told by someone (me, XD) who hasn't gotten bored yet.

Returning to Felipe the camel and his sagacity, we must be fair in saying that the developers have achieved the unthinkable by designing a character who skates very well through the desert, even though you are the one controlling his movements. I think I've come to appreciate this animal, even though I'm adamant that sometimes we get stuck on a level. It's my fault and not the llama's! I know… I know… Someone must be to blame.

Llevo más de un año jugando Alto's Odyssey, en situaciones sin tantas ocupaciones ya hubiera pasado este videojuego, pero aun así he avanzado bastante. Nótese que este título de corredor infinito no me ha aburrido, ¿jugar por más de un año? ¡Si es posible cuando hay una buena jugabilidad! Alto's es una buena opción para disfrutar al extremo a pesar de que en no hacemos más que piruetas por el desierto. Debo admitir que la estética es el elemento que merece el trofeo aquí. Se los dice alguien (yo, XD) que no se ha aburrido todavía.

Volviendo con Felipe la llama y su sagacidad, hay que ser justos al decir que los desarrolladores han logrado lo impensable diseñando un personaje que patina muy bien por el desierto, aunque seas tú quien controles sus movimientos. Creo que le he llegado a tomar aprecio a este animal, a pesar de que me obstina que en ocasiones nos quedemos atascados en un nivel. ¡La culpa es mía y no de la llama! Lo sé… lo sé…alguien debe tener la culpa.

I set out to break the maximum score with Felipe unstoppable, that's what the gameplay is about. Did I tell you that once you dive into Alto's Odyssey everything seems relaxing? That's right, it seems... nothing could be further from the truth.

Felipe is a very fast runner when he accumulates many points. In this game, each combo of tricks makes the runner's scarf grow, taking him to his full potential. Some time ago I bought a wingsuit, which allows the skater to fly. The first time I saw Felipe flying was very funny, but no less impressive for that reason. Even today it seems strange to me to see this llama skating, however, video games do not have to obey realistic laws. A friend always tells me that the more absurd something is, the more interesting it is. And I think she is right, XD.

Me propuse a romper con la puntuación máxima junto a Felipe la llama imparable, de eso va el gameplay. ¿Ya les dije que una vez que te sumerges en Alto's Odyssey todo parece relajante? Así es, parece… nada más lejos de la realidad.

Felipe es un corredor muy rápido cuando acumula muchos puntos. En este videojuego, cada combo de piruetas hace que la bufanda del corredor crezca, llevándolo a su máximo potencial. Desde hace algún tiempo atrás había yo comprado el traje aéreo, que permite volar al patinador. La primera vez que vi a Felipe volando fue muy gracioso, pero no por eso menos impresionante. Todavía hoy me parece extraño ver a esta llama patinando, no obstante, los videojuegos no tienen por qué obedecer las leyes realistas. Una amiga siempre me dice que mientras más absurdo sea algo, más interesante es. Y creo que tiene la razón, XD.

To beat my points streak I had to play for at least two hours, hahaha. Of course, I couldn't saturate you with a video in which mostly obstacles knock Felipe off his skateboard, so I compressed the masterstroke into almost eleven minutes. Something interesting is that if you lose in Alto's Odyssey you can start over without problems, yes, you lose your progress, unless you want to watch ads to fix your mistakes, like I do, Lol.

In case you get stuck in a level, you can skip the objectives to complete, which consist of doing specific tricks. I don't skip the levels because I mean, I see it as cheating, XD. I also have an excellent streak for each level, and I don't plan to lose it, at least for now.

Para lograr superar mi racha de puntos tuve que jugar al menos unas dos horas, jajaja. Claro que no podía saturarlos con un video en el que mayormente los obstáculos tumban a Felipe de su patineta, así que comprimí la jugada maestra en casi once minutos. Algo interesante es que si pierdes en Alto's Odyssey puedes volver a comenzar sin problemas, eso sí, pierdes el progreso, a menos que desees ver anuncios para remendar las metidas de patas, como yo lo hago, Lol.

En caso de que te quedes atrapado en un nivel, puedes saltar los objetivos a cumplir, los cuales consisten en hacer piruetas específicas. Yo no me salto los niveles porque o sea, lo veo como hacer trampa, XD. Además llevo una excelente racha por cada nivel, y no pienso perderla, al menos por ahora.

En el gameplay podrán ver a Felipe la llama en acción, haciendo algunas piruetas locas y acumulando puntos para volar. Nunca en la vida a existido un animal tan atrevido en el desierto, a excepción de Rango, el de la película), pero él es un camaleón. LOL.
