    Ante situaciones emocionalmente abrumadoras, todos tenemos diferentes formas de reaccionar y algunas serán más notorias que otras.

    Es frecuente en el área de la Salud Mental que algunos síntomas o malestares no se aborden precisamente por esta razón, se les da mayor importancia a los síntomas que hacen "más ruido" y aquellos que no se ven no suelen recibir las intervenciones adecuadas.

    En el video les comento sobre dos tipos de reacciónes, las explosivas y las implosivas, y cuáles son las características de cada una.

    Cuando reaccionamos de formas exageradas lo hacemos por la presencia de factores detonadores y una dificultad para manejar y procesar adecuadamente la carga emocional que estos nos generan. Cabe resaltar que desde la psicoterapia trabajamos en este procesamiento y gestión de las emociones, para que tengamos respuestas más reflexivas, pues la mayoría de reacciones exageradas generan alguna consecuencia en nosotros mismos o las personas que nos rodean.

    Faced with emotionally overwhelming situations, we all have different ways of reacting and some will be more noticeable than others.

    It is common in the area of Mental Health that some symptoms or discomforts are not addressed precisely for this reason, more importance is given to the symptoms that make “more noise” and those that are not seen do not usually receive appropriate interventions.

    In the video I discuss two types of reactions, explosive and implosive, and what are the characteristics of each.

    When we react in exaggerated ways we do it due to the presence of triggering factors and a difficulty to handle and process the emotional load that these generate. It should be noted that from psychotherapy we work on this processing and management of emotions, so that we have more thoughtful responses, because most overreactions generate some consequence in ourselves or the people around us.
