Hola queridos Hivers.
Hello dear Hivers. I've been absent from the platform for a long time because my university studies demand 100% of my time. But, since I will be on vacation for a few weeks, I decided to bring back some love to my blog and to you. Especially to the 3Speak platform; below you will see an aerial acrobatics video, in which I perform a trick that, you could call, of advanced difficulty. I must clarify, first of all, that I performed this trick many, many times with protection on the ground with mats of at least 30 to 45 cm thick, as well as supervision. Once I mastered the trick, as you can see, I feel confident to perform it without protection on the ground.
When performing tricks of this level of difficulty it is very important to use safety elements such as the one I just mentioned, in addition to the accompaniment of your coach or a professionally trained person who supervises both the assembly of the safeties and the moment of escape. Since in the event that the aerialist releases the fabric, in addition to having safety mats that mitigate the impact, the person supervising can receive the athlete when falling.
Since, as you can see, this escape at the end does not have more than the insurance in one of the lower extremities and the other insurance is to hold the silks tightly with both hands. The latter is also very important, as the energy must be evenly distributed in the hands and leg, otherwise the leg may be affected by the tension of the webbing at the end of the descent.
Without further ado, I hope you enjoy the video and leave me a comment with your opinion. If you have any questions regarding this discipline, leave them in the comment box as well. If this post gathers at least 10 questions, I will gladly make a post answering each one of them.
