¡Feliz jueves, amigos amantes de la música! Me uno nuevamente al concurso Talent Sound Music en su edición del mes de abril, en el marco de la conmemoración del día de la Tierra, nuestro único hogar, donde convivimos con una flora y una fauna extraordinaria que necesita de nuestra protección y cuidado, al igual que los mares, lagos y ríos que representan una maravillosa fuente de vida.

Para esta ocasión, les presento la canción “The Sea” (El Mar). El agua es uno de los 4 elementos de la naturaleza, junto al fuego, la tierra y aire, todos ellos vitales para el funcionamiento de nuestro planeta; este tema es interpretado por la cantante inglesa Melanie Chisholm, y forma parte del álbum del mismo nombre, publicado en el año 2011.

En esta canción vemos una metáfora del mar como el lugar donde ha sido arrojado el espíritu de alguien para que se ahogue, sin embargo esa persona encuentra la fuerza para salir de ahí con la ayuda de las mareas, ya que en el fondo considera al mar como su amigo, finalmente es el espíritu del adversario el que queda derrocado y ahogado en las profundidades. Espero que les guste mi cover en guitarra acústica y huevos de percusión.

Happy Thursday, music lovers and friends! I join again the Talent Sound Music contest in its April edition, as part of the commemoration of Earth Day, our only home, where we live with an extraordinary flora and fauna that needs our protection and care, as well as the seas, lakes and rivers that represent a wonderful source of life.

For this occasion, I present to you the song "The Sea". Water is one of the 4 elements of nature, along with fire, earth and air, all of them vital for the functioning of our planet; this song is performed by the English singer Melanie Chisholm, and is part of the album of the same name, released in 2011.

In this song we see a metaphor of the sea as the place where the spirit of someone has been thrown to drown, however that person finds the strength to get out of there with the help of the tides, because deep down she considers the sea as her friend, finally it is the spirit of the adversary who is overthrown and drowned in the depths. I hope you like my cover on acoustic guitar and percussion eggs.
