¡Hola, comunidad de DIYHub! En esta ocasión deseo mostrarles una manualidad que me gustó mucho realizar, hecha con algunos materiales reciclados y un poco de creatividad. Se trata de un macetero con base de madera. Vamos a ver los materiales y el paso a paso.

We will need / Vamos a necesitar:

8 Wooden strips (I used old Jenga blocks) / 8 Listones de madera (Yo usé antiguos bloques de Jenga)

Liquid silicone / Silicón liquido

Recycled container / 1 Envase reciclado

Paints and brush / Pinturas y pincel

Jute rope / Mecatillo de yute

We start by gluing two blocks or wooden strips at a measure of 2 cm as shown in the image. Let dry very well.

Iniciamos pegando dos bloques o listones de madera a una medida de 2 cm como se puede apreciar en la imagen. Dejamos secar muy bien.

We must assemble 4 sets of pieces in the same way. Now we are going to glue one piece to the other as we can see here, I placed an object underneath to help it stick well.

Debemos armar 4 juegos de piezas de esta misma manera. Ahora vamos a pegar una pieza con otra de la forma que podemos ver aquí, yo le coloqué un objeto debajo para ayudar a que pegue bien.

Once we have these two main pieces, we are going to join them in this way. We glue and let it dry.

Here we can see how this beautiful structure that will serve as the base for our plant pot looks like.

Una vez que tengamos estas dos piezas principales, las vamos a unir de esta manera. Pegamos y dejamos secar.

Aquí podemos ver cómo queda esta bonita estructura que servirá de base para nuestro macetero.

Now we go with the pot itself; for this we cut the top edge of the container with the help of scissors.

Ahora vamos con la maceta como tal; para ello recortamos el borde superior del envase con la ayuda de unas tijeras.

I put a white base with a sponge so that the paint chosen later has a better adherence. I chose a brown color to which I then gave a sparkle effect with the help of a toothbrush and black and white paint.

Yo le coloque una base de color blanco con una esponja para que la pintura escogida posteriormente tenga una mejor adherencia. Yo escogí un color marrón al que luego que di un efecto de chispas con la ayuda de un cepillo dental y pintura blanca y negra.

The only thing left to do now is to place the jute rope on the upper edge with the help of liquid silicone.

Solo falta colocar el mecatillo en el borde superior con la ayuda de silicón líquido.

Here we have the two pieces that make up our composition; we place the pot on the base and thus we have our nice plant pot, with a unique style and most reusable materials.

Acá tenemos las dos piezas que conforman nuestra composición; colocamos la maceta sobre la base y así tenemos nuestro lindo macetero, con un estilo único y la mayoría de materiales reutilizables.

This is a wonderful composition with a very sophisticated design. I placed light artificial plants; if you want to place natural plants you should use nails to join the wooden strips so that the base is well reinforced. I hope you liked this idea. Thanks for visiting.
