Let's crochet a wallet

Hello guyz!!How are you all doing?My sister was requesting me for many many days to crochet her a wallet.Bur I was busy making other stuff. So I decided to finally make one for her.Crocheting is the best method to make something.Beacause it allow you yo customise the things.To choose yarn of your own color.plus crochet items have unique hand-made charm that can't be same with the store bought products.And the most amazing thing is crocheting is relaxing and meditative activity that can cause release stress and increase focus.

Materials required

1-yarn
2-crochet hook 🪝
3- scissors ✂️

pattern

1-make 16 foundation chains
2-double the chain
3-From 3rd chain to 20th chain ⛓️ follow the same pattern I.e.
1 hdc and 1 slip stitch.
4-when 20 chains are completed fold the wallet
5-stitch it with using needle or crochet hook🪝 .
I used hook.To stich with hook just single crochet on the edges.

The process

First I made the chains.

Then I doubled the chain.

I used same color for first four rows.

Then I changed the color to white.from there onwards I made 2 rows with purple 💜 yarn and two with white yarn.

The process of making the wallet was pretty easy.But the only problem was the edges.They just planned to mess up with me.I continously crochet and then at a point I realized that the sides of wallet are not aligned.They are shorter and somewhere bigger.So I opened them and crochet again.

The other problem was the changing of color.I myself choose to used two different colors and realized it's annoying to change color after two rows.But the results were good.That's convinced me to go on with the process.

Then at last stitching was easy. I prefer to used hook than needle.
I folded the wallet and stitched it.

I single crochet along the edges of whole wallet including the middle part.

And the wallet is ready.here is the final look.

I forgot to mention the cute little button I added.It was looking so good.
My sister liked the wallet very much.she was so happy that I made her something.
Looking at her happiness I relaized that the process was worthy.
