Lately I've been publishing Hausa songs cover for my entries and today I decided to go with the Yoruba dialect. The title of the song am covering is "Owo Oluwa Nbe" by Tolutope Soyemi. "Owo Oluwa Nbe" is talking about the hands of God upon us because in his presence comes restoration and power, in His presence comes miracles and fulfilled destinies, with God's hands upon us we will run, walk and fly and never get tired.
The Bible says at the mention of The name Jesus, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord. This means there's no name greater than the name of our Lord and there's none beside Him, no one can be compared to Our God and that's why when you are on the Lord's side, no weapon formed against you prospers. I am not really acquainted with the Yoruba dialect but I think this song has made to go beyond my coast to learn it this far. I so much love this heart touching song and every detailed part of the song since it describes who we are in Christ Jesus.
There are so many versions of this song on the social media because of how viral the song has travelled and so I decided to pick up some interesting lines from a short reels I watched where some singers were enjoying this tunes and expressing themselves also in English which makes it up a verse for the song. In other not to border you with so many write-ups, I will leave us to enjoy the cover and I hope you all derive some meaning from it thank you.
Owo oluwa n be lori aye mi oooo
(The hand of the Lord is upon me)
O n gbe mi fo
(It makes me fly)
O n gbe mi sare
(It sustains my run)
Owo oluwa n be lori aye mi oooo
(The hand of the Lord is upon me)
O n gbe mi fo
(It makes me fly)
O n gbe mi sare
(It sustains my run)
