Unfortunately due to both work and health issues I was unable to continue participating in MusicZone's Song Challenge. I am currently going through a process of healing and care of my vocal cords, due to an overexertion of the same for some musical events I had in the month of November and December, because I went through a process of infection and inflammation that has left me some important sequelae. However, we are already better and doing what is necessary to get 100% better and continue making music.

"Wicked Game" spanish version (LA LEY)

Today I bring a cover of a cover, how is that? Well, some of you may have heard WICKED GAME, a classic from the late 80s by Chris Isaac, a song that is extremely tragic and nostalgic, of course it is an English song. That song was apparently made famous by a film by director David Lynch, the rest is history. The version I am playing is in Spanish and is a version popularized by the Chilean rock band "La Ley". In 2014 the Chilean band decided to release their own Spanish version of the classic Wicked Game, and the truth in my opinion what they did was a spectacular job. They respected the essence of the song to such an extent that there is not much difference, the vocal mastery of Beto Cuevas stands out and of course the neat musical execution of the band. I don't know if there is any other Spanish version of the song, but La Ley's is simply masterful.
