Civilanzando Monos en The Survivalists [ES/EN]

Hace unas semanas compré en Steam un juego en oferta llamado The Survivalists, el cual llamó mi atención por su estilo pixelart y el tema de sobrevivir en una isla crafteando cosas y poder hacer amigos monos. Lo tenía en mi biblioteca pero no me animaba a jugarlo, al igual que otros juegos que tengo, sin embargo esta semana quería probar algo nuevo y le di la oportunidad a este título, les cuento que tal es y les muestro un video mientras juego con mi colega @cethzalez.

The Survivalist es un juego de aventura y exploración multijugador, que tiene alguna similitud con DontStarve, tiene la novedad de poder entrenar a monos para que hagan las cosas por nosotros, de hecho los monos trabajan mucho mejor que nosotros y a medida que repiten una tarea su nivel aumenta, tengo algunos monos que tienen la capacidad de construir cosas al 449% de eficacia y rapidez, una locura. Lo mejor que tienen estos monos es que nunca se quejan, no comen, no duermen, nunca mueren, solo pueden ser nokeados pero al minuto se levantan como si nada. Además pueden llevar armas para que sirvan de guardaespaldas, colocarles nombres, ponerles sombreros, cambiarles el color del pelaje, es muy divertido todo lo que tiene que ver con los monos, hasta pueden llevar cofres sirviendo como inventarios andantes.

A few weeks ago I bought on Steam a game on sale called The Survivalist, which caught my attention for its pixelart style and the theme of surviving on an island crafting things and being able to make monkey friends. I had it in my library but I did not dare to play it, like other games I have, however this week I wanted to try something new and I gave this title a chance, I tell you how it is and I show you a video while playing with my colleague @cethzalez.

The Survivalist is a multiplayer adventure and exploration game, which has some similarity with DontStarve, it has the novelty of being able to train monkeys to do things for us, in fact the monkeys work much better than us and as they repeat a task their level increases, I have some monkeys that have the ability to build things at 449% efficiency and speed, crazy. The best thing about these monkeys is that they never complain, they don't eat, they don't sleep, they never die, they can only be knocked out but a minute later they get up as if nothing happened. They can also carry weapons to serve as bodyguards, put names on them, put hats on them, change the color of their fur, everything that has to do with monkeys is very funny, they can even carry chests serving as walking inventories.

Mi primera impresión al jugarlo fue la calidad y lo hermoso del diseño pixelart, es sencillo pero bien pulido. En principio los controles son algo confusos porque son un poco diferentes a lo que he jugado antes. Inmediatamente me dediqué a explorar la isla y la cantidad de cosas que puedo hacer, me enganché y le hablé de él a mis colegas. Al día siguiente mi compañero @cethzalez se lo compró y @buiitre también, así que nos fuimos en cooperativo de aventura en este juegazo, fue una partida muy divertida, más aun porque los tres estábamos conociendo sobre el juego, todo era nuevo.

My first impression when playing it was the quality and beauty of the pixelart design, it's simple but well polished. At first the controls are a bit confusing because they are a bit different from what I've played before. I immediately got into exploring the island and the amount of things I can do, I was hooked and told my colleagues about it. The next day my partner @cethzalez bought it and @buiitre too, so we went on a cooperative adventure in this great game, it was a very fun game, even more because the three of us were learning about the game, everything was new.

En mi mundo individual yo apenas estaba creando algunas cosas para ir avanzando. Algo que tiene este juego es que debes aprender a hacer alguna receta para poder desbloquear otras, así que en la mesa de trabajo o crafteo deberemos crear algunas cosas innecesarias en ese momento para aprender cosas que realmente necesitemos. No tenía muchos avances en mi mundo porque estuve jugando muchas horas en el mundo de cethzalez. El modo de juego es así, puedes compartir tu mundo con tus compañeros pero los logros obtenidos son del host o dueño del mundo, al igual que los monos que puedan conseguir pertenecen al dueño del mundo, y así una serie de cosas , sin embargo no le quita diversión. Yo contaba con un solo mono llamado Panda, pero al ver que estaba avanzando en el mundo de cethzalez y que no era contado en mi mundo, cuando terminamos la partida me fui a jugar en mi mundo de forma individual, así es, todos dormían pero yo me quedé enganchado avanzando en The Survivalist. Casi me olvido de mencionar que hay mazmorras y puzles.

In my individual world I was just creating some things to advance. Something that this game has is that you must learn to make some recipes to be able to unlock others, so in the workbench or crafting we will have to create some unnecessary things at that moment to learn things that we really need. I didn't have much progress in my world because I was playing many hours in the world of cethzalez. The gameplay is like this, you can share your world with your companions but the achievements obtained belong to the host or owner of the world, as well as the monkeys that you can get belong to the owner of the world, and so a series of things, however it does not take away the fun. I had only one monkey named Panda, but seeing that he was advancing in the world of cethzalez and that he was not counted in my world, when we finished the game I went to play in my world individually, that's right, everyone slept but I stayed hooked advancing in The Survivalist. I almost forgot to mention that there are dungeons and puzzles.

Actualmente tengo 10 monos, mi base esta bastante decente, tengo casi todas las recetas desbloqueadas y tengo pensado hacer portales que me lleven a otras islas. Este juego no es muy largo, creo que ya estoy a punto de obtener todos los logros y pasarlo, pero es bastante divertido, lo mejor de todo es que cuesta menos de 1,50$ en Steam. Si alguno se anima a jugarlo no dude en invitarme a su mundo para ayudarle a conseguir monos.

I currently have 10 monkeys, my base is pretty decent, I have almost all the recipes unlocked and I plan to make portals that will take me to other islands. This game is not very long, I think I'm about to get all the achievements and pass it, but it's pretty fun, best of all it costs less than 1.50$ on Steam. If anyone is encouraged to play it do not hesitate to invite me to your world to help you get monkeys.
