Greetings and blessings to all in this week 177 of the "Hive Open Mic". Today, stepping out of my comfort zone, I'm going to sing a French Christmas carol by Nöel Suisse entitled "Open the Heavens".

  This little song is a very beautiful praise to the Lord who, as the lyrics sing it, is our Redeemer and Savior. I want to tell you that when I started reading this song, and after not singing for so long, I realized that I must go back to my vocalization and breathing routines, so to speak, my voice got out of place. I have tried to do my best because the work is worth the effort, although it is brief and simple, it is very beautiful and transmits a lot of sweetness and tender calm.

  One of the reasons why I rarely record singing performances is because of the annoying ambient noise that creeps into the mic whenever I try. To avoid that, this time I have used some processors from Izotope, and although the noise was almost completely gone, the processor also eliminated some "r", but despite this I preferred to publish it like this, because the noise it is less desirable than that small detail. With practice I will improve this and other aspects for the next presentations. :)

  I hope this little praise to the Lord is a nice way to remember the need we have for Him. But before I say goodbye, I want to ask you, what does this song transmit to you?

  Saludos y bendiciones para todos en esta semana 177 del "Hive Open Mic". Hoy, saliendo de mi zona de confort, cantaré un villancico francés de Nöel Suisse titulado "Ábranse los Cielos".

  Esta pequeña canción es un elogio muy lindo al Señor que, como la letra lo canta, es nuestro Redentor y Salvador. Quiero contarles que al comenzar la lectura de esta canción, y después de tanto tiempo sin cantar, me di cuenta que debo retomar mis rutinas de vocalización y de respiración, por decirlo de alguna manera, la voz se desacomodó. He intentado hacerlo lo mejor posible pues la obra merece el esfuerzo, aunque es breve y sencilla, es muy bella y transmite mucha dulzura y tierna calma.

  Una de las razones por las que casi no grabo presentaciones cantando es por el molesto ruido ambiente que se cuela por el micro siempre que lo intento. Para evitar eso, en esta oportunidad me he servido de algunos procesadores de la casa Izotope, y aunque el ruido se fue casi por completo, el procesador eliminó también algunas "r", pero a pesar de ello he preferido publicarlo así, pues el ruido es menos deseable que ese pequeño detalle. Con practica mejoraré este y otros aspectos para las próximas presentaciones. :)

  Espero que este pequeño elogio al Señor sea una bonita manera de recordar la necesidad que tenemos de Él. Pero antes de despedirme quiero preguntarte ¿qué te transmite esta canción?
