I haven't skated for three weeks, three weeks! So I was bored at home and I was in debt to my son. I had promised that we would go skateboarding over the weekend, but it rained a lot and I broke my promise. He got a taste for skateboarding, he loves gliding around on all four wheels!

For me, he likes to skateboard, it's great, I've always encouraged him to practice some sport. He plays football sometimes, but not as much of a fan as a Brazilian should be, so let's go skateboarding because his father approves!

I made this video with the best moments of our night, and man, what a great night. The weather was great!

The ever-present police were raiding some guys nearby.

A break to show this art by a graffiti artist that is spread across the city. Just on the way from the square where I was to my house, I found three of his drawings.

Caleb, my son, really liked this square, it was the first time he skated there. There is a part with a drop in level where it is easy to get caught up. The ground also helps a lot, it is very smooth and the skateboard picks up speed very quickly. But on the other hand, it is much more difficult and dangerous, as any small imbalance can lead to a fall. But falling is part of it and that's how you learn to walk. He fell once and was a little embarrassed, since it's a public square and a lot of people are passing by. But I told him that falling is part of it and he didn't get hurt, which is great!

But it was nice to get out of the mid-week routine. Over the weekend I plan to go to a rink that recently opened here in the city and maybe I'll borrow some skateboards to learn something there.

Fala comigo!

Três semanas que eu não ando de skate, três semanas! Então, eu estava entediado em casa e estava com uma dívida com meu filho. Eu tinha prometido que no fim de semana a gente ia andar de skate, mas choveu muito e quebrei minha promessa. Ele pegou gosto pelo skate, ta adorando deslizar com as 4 rodas por ai!

Ele gostar de andar de skate para mim ta sendo ótimo, sempre incentivei ele a praticar algum esporte. Ele joga futebol as vezes, mas não tão fã quanto um brasileiro deveria ser, então bora andar de skate que o pai aprova!

Fiz esse vídeo com os melhores momentos da nossa noite, e cara, que noite agradável. O clima estava ótimo!

A polícia sempre presente estava dando uma batida em uns caras ali por perto.

Uma pausa pra mostrar essa arte de algum grafiteiro que esta espalhado pela cidade. Só no caminho da praça onde eu estava até a minha casa, achei três de seus desenhos.

Caleb, o meu filho, gostou muito dessa praça, foi a primeira vez que ele andou de skate ali. Lá tem uma parte com um desnível que é fácil pegar embalo. O chão também ajuda bastante, ele é bem liso e o skate pega velocidade bem rápido. Mas em contraponto, é bem mais difícil e perigoso, já que qualquer pequeno desequilíbrio pode virar um tombo. Mas cair faz parte e é assim que se aprende a andar. Ele caiu uma vez e ficou um pouco envergonhado, já que lá é um praça pública e muitas pessoas estão passando por lá. Mas avisei pra ele que cair faz parte e ele não se machucou o que já é ótimo!

Mas foi bom sair da rotina de meio da semana. No fim de semana pretendo ir a uma pista que inaugurou recentemente aqui na cidade e talvez eu pegue algum skate emprestado para aprender algo por lá.
