Hive Open Mic 172 - "Home By Westlife" Cover

Hello Hive Open Mic community!
It's another week to share music and listen to music, as always, I am excited about this week's theme and the cover of song I came up with.

The theme of the week - Family was chosen by our spotlight artist @edwardstobia and I find this theme more beautiful and really connective as we all have a family to think about when we hear the word Family. I want to believe the artist chose this theme feeling grateful about his family.

For the theme, I decided to do the song Home by Westlife, a song that has always made me feel the importance of family and explains the feeling of missing family when you are away from home. I've had that feeling a good number of times especially during the times I had to go back to school and live on my own.

Family is love, family is connection, family is fun, family is encouragement, family is home...
This song says all of that in it's lyrics and I'm so happy to have remembered it as my entry for theme.

The song says more about being far from home and keep wishing to go back home to be in the love and company of one's family. It's beautiful how they made the lyrics emotional and even the video I came across made it more emotional for me.

I love my family and the memories we've kept together while we jeep building more as time goes by, I miss them so much when I'm away from them and this song speaks my heart whenever I'm away, I remember putting it on repeat owhile I was in school. The song is beautiful and speaks my heart but most importantly, I enjoy listening to Westlife sing a lot.
