Hola Amigos de Geek Zone ¿Cómo están? Espero que estén super bien y sean bienvenidos a una nueva publicación hecha por mí. Seguimos con el modo historia de Halo 2, la vez pasada estuvimos en el templo donde encontramos a uno de los profetas, aquí descubrimos que los covenants quieren encontrar el índice para activar el nuevo Halo que se formó. ¿Se acuerdan del índice? Ese artefacto del primer juego que me hizo pasar dos misiones prácticamente imposibles.

Afortunadamente o a conveniencia del Guion logre pasar esas misiones, en la actualidad nos toca ahora es siguiente segmento de esta misión entre los templos antiguos, ahora nuestro objetivo será encontrar el profeta del pesar verdadero para matarlo antes de que siga haciendo de las suyas, para eso tendremos que pasar por un montón de pasadizos secretos, montañas e incluso una base submarina que nos recibirá de la mejor forma posible, claro.

Nada más empezar la grabación de este Gameplay me cayeron un montón de bichos en la cabeza, pensé que iba a morir en el acto, pero por una vez en la vida los compañeros hicieron algo útil y me lograron salvar, en parte porque tenía equipada la espada sin carga y no podía pegar con ella, entonces pensé que sería buena idea intercambiarla por un rifle de los covenants, resulta que acerté en mi decisión ya que el rifle es super necesario en esta parte de la misión.

Los enemigos se van a encontrar lejos de nuestra posición, entonces lo mejor que podemos hacer es atacar a distancia, los covenants también van a tener su rifle, aunque estos no saben apuntar muy bien que digamos, yo tampoco jaja, luego los enemigos se enteran de nuestra existencia y vienen con todo hacia nosotros, tenemos que participar en una batalla campal intensa para que después llegue una nave nodriza a dejar a unos viejos amigos.

Estos viejos amigos son los golems, bueno no se llaman así, pero siempre les he dicho de ese modo porque siempre se me complica luchar contra ellos, aguantan bastantes disparos, estuve como 10 minutos luchando contra 2 de estos monstruos hasta que pude vencerlos, pero por cuestiones de la vida, algo me cayó en la cabeza y me morí misteriosamente, entonces me tocó repetir la secuencia otra vez.

Pensé que iba a tardar más de la cuenta, pero pasó algo super extraño, cuando les disparaba en la cabeza mientras llegaban a la plataforma se morían, cuando pasó eso me quedé completamente loco, tanto así que me tiré al vacío sin querer, al menos ya descubrí la debilidad de ellos, usé el bug a mi favor y los pude matar de una vez. Posteriormente, tenemos que subirnos a unas plataformas que se desplazan por el agua, esto con el fin de llegar a la otra instalación que se encuentra al otro lado del mapa.

Matamos unos cuentos bichos voladores en el camino, me quedo sin munición (cosa rara) y llegamos al otro lado donde nos reciben con muchas metralletas de balas laser, llega un momento donde me quedo sin munición completamente, lo único que podía usar para defenderme era la escopeta, pero todos sabemos que esta arma sólo sirve de cerca y no a distancia, así que confié en mis compañeros para que reciban toda la balacera mientras que no me escabullía por ahí.

Por otro lado, luego de evitar una batalla campal aún peor, pues llego a una especie de ascensor donde nos llevará a la base submarina, esta parte me pareció muy genial y me hace pensar en lo bien que esta sociedad ha desarrollado su tecnología para crear semejantes cosas, pensé que en algún momento tendría que nadar, pero creo que no existe mecánica para eso en el juego, o si, no sé, lo que si sé es que me van a cantar cumpleaños o algo así ya que la base de bajo del Mar está super llena de covenants, aquí fácil voy a morir como unas 3 o 4 veces aproximadamente, este segmento de la misión es un desafío para cualquiera que juegue al Halo 2 por primera vez, aparecen todo los monstruos del juego hasta el momento, excepto los floods por suerte.

Bueno Amigos de Geek Zone, después de pasar la base de bajo del Mar tenemos que encontrar al profeta, este señor como es un jefe en el juego estará bien acompañado de muchos covenants estorbando por ahí, creo que el método para ganarle será usar la fuerza bruta. ¿El jefe Maestro podrá vencer al Profeta? Lo averiguaremos en el vídeo.

Fortunately or at the convenience of the script I managed to pass those missions, today we now have the next segment of this mission among the ancient temples, now our goal will be to find the prophet of true grief to kill him before he continues to do his thing, for that we will have to go through a lot of secret passages, mountains and even an underwater base that will receive us in the best possible way, of course.

As soon as I started recording this gameplay, a bunch of bugs fell on my head, I thought I was going to die on the spot, but for once in my life, my companions did something useful and managed to save me, partly because I had equipped the sword without a charge and could not hit with it, then I thought it would be a good idea to exchange it for a rifle of the covenants, it turns out that I was right in my decision since the rifle is super necessary for this part of the mission.

The enemies are going to be far away from our position, so the best we can do is to attack from a distance, the covenants will also have their rifles, although they don't know how to aim very well, and neither do I haha, then the enemies find out about our existence and come with everything towards us, we have to participate in an intense pitched battle so that later a mother ship arrives to leave some old friends.

These old friends are the golems, well they are not called like that, but I have always called them that way because it is always difficult for me to fight against them, they withstand a lot of shots, I was about 10 minutes fighting against 2 of these monsters until I could beat them, but due to life issues, something fell on my head and I died mysteriously, then I had to repeat the sequence.

I thought it was going to take longer than expected, but something super strange happened, when I shot them in the head while they reached the platform they died when that happened I went completely crazy, so much so that I jumped into the void without wanting to, at least I discovered their weakness, I used the bug to my advantage and I could kill them at once. Later, we have to get on some platforms that move through the water, to reach the other facility that is on the other side of the map.

We kill a few hundred flying bugs on the way, I run out of ammo (a rare thing) and we get to the other side where we are greeted with many machine guns with laser bullets, there comes a time when I run out of ammo completely, the only thing I could use to defend myself was the shotgun, but we all know that this weapon only works up close and not at a distance, so I relied on my teammates to get all the shooting while I did not sneak around.

On the other hand, after avoiding an even worse pitched battle, well I get to a kind of elevator where it will take us to the underwater base, this part I thought was cool and makes me think about how well this society has developed its technology to create such things, I thought that at some point I would have to swim, but I think there is no mechanic for that in the game, or yes, I don't know, what I do know is that they are going to sing me birthdays or something like that since the base under the Sea is super full of covenants, here easy I am going to die like 3 or 4 times approximately, this segment of the mission is a challenge for anyone who plays Halo 2 for the first time, all the monsters of the game appear so far, except for the floods luckily.
