Saludos a todos mis nietecitos de #hive, hoy les traigo un vídeo que tal vez para muchos no significa nada pero para esta abuelita si lo es, y mucho, porque marca el inicio de la navidad en mi humilde hogar.

Está navidad estamos realizando mejoras en el hogar, hacía ya 8 años que no podíamos pintar la casa, y este año hicimos un esfuerzo y pudimos pintar, y arreglar un poco la casa, mi pequeña Lupita no hacía más que preguntar cuando Iban a terminar los trabajos para poder colocar los adornos de la navidad, así que cuando dijeron que todo estaba listo, dimos inicio a sacar todo del depósito para limpiar y poder montar todo.

Mi linda muñequita estaba bastante emocionada, me ayudó casi en todo, primero sacamos el árbol y los adornos, y allí sí dimos inicio a la decoración de nuestro árbol de navidad, en un principio pensé que no nos iba a alcanzar los adornos para cubrir el árbol, pero al final más bien nos sobró bastante, colocamos las bolas, luego fuimos incorporando las flores, las ramas decorativas yo use blancas y doradas, y luego los muñecos más grandes, este año le colocamos muñecos navideños y flores rojas y doradas aunque también le coloque una flor amarilla, una azul y una roja, que simboliza la bandera de mi país Venezuela.

También le coloque 6 instalación de luces de navidad, todas de color amarillo, porque así es que me gustan, no las de colores, siempre me ha gustado así, y creo que se ve mejor y más elegante, aunque es cuestión de gustos, cuando ya estuvo todo listo le dimos algunos toques, coloque el pie de árbol, y un lindo cascanueces que hizo mi hija, también está santa subiendo al árbol atraves de una escalera y como toque final le coloque el burrito sabanero, muy típico de nuestro folklore Venezolano, y con el que siento que le di un toque diferente, coloque la estrella y listo el árbol, solo quedó encender las luces y ya.

A mí me encantó el resultado final, y ni hablar de mi Lupita, esa niña quedó muy emocionada, decía a cada rato lo bello que había quedado la casa, porque también coloque las guirnaldas en el arco al lado del árbol, y claro no podía faltar lo que yo llamo el stand de los cascanueces, ya que soy fanática de estas figuras y tengo una colección. Colocamos adornos por todas partes de la casa ya que contábamos con una gran cantidad de ellos, siento que quedó realmente hermosa toda la casa aunque aún me faltó la cocina, pero ya estoy trabajando en ella.

Le expliqué a Lupita que lo más importante no es colocar las luces, los adornos, entre otros, si no que lo más importante y la esencia de la navidad es la unión de la familia, le expliqué la importancia de estar todos juntos apoyándonos y compartiendo no solo en estas fiestas, sino todo el año, le dije también que aunque muchos agarran estás fiestas para beber, se debe tomar es para la reflexión, para comprometerse a ser mejores personas cada día, a ser seres humanos con valores, y esa es mi invitación a qué tú cómo padre le enseñes a tus niños que la navidad es el momento de valorar lo poco o lo mucho que tenemos, a enseñarle que lo material es secundario, que lo más importante es tener a tu familia allí.

Greetings to all my #hive grandchildren, today I bring you a video that may not mean anything to many but to this grandma it does, and very much so, because it marks the beginning of Christmas in my humble home.

This Christmas we are making home improvements, it had been 8 years since we could paint the house, and this year we made an effort and we were able to paint, and fix the house a little, my little Lupita kept asking when they were going to finish the work to put up the Christmas decorations, so when they said that everything was ready, we started to remove everything from storage to clean and to assemble everything.

My pretty little doll was very excited, she helped me with almost everything, first we took out the tree and the ornaments, and then we started decorating our Christmas tree, at first I thought that we would not have enough ornaments to cover the tree, but in the end we had enough left over, we placed the balls, then we incorporated the flowers, the decorative branches I used white and gold, and then the bigger dolls, this year we placed Christmas dolls and red and gold flowers although I also placed a yellow flower, a blue one and a red one, which symbolizes the flag of my country Venezuela.

I also put 6 christmas lights, all in yellow, because that's the way I like them, not the coloured ones, I've always liked it that way, and I think it looks better and more elegant, although it's a matter of taste, when everything was ready we gave it some touches, I put the tree stand, and a nice nutcracker that my daughter made, and a nice nutcracker that my daughter made, Santa is also climbing the tree through a ladder and as a final touch I put the burrito sabanero, very typical of our Venezuelan folklore, and with which I feel that I gave a different touch, place the star and ready the tree, was only turn on the lights and that's it.

We placed ornaments everywhere in the house as we had a lot of them, I feel that the whole house was really beautiful although I still missed the kitchen, but I'm already working on it.
