Hola mi Familia y Comunidad Hive Open Mic. Bienvenidos a la semana ciento sesenta y siete de Hive Open Mic, y el tema de esta semana es "Otaku", elegido por @eudarcabello. Como se explica en el post introductorio de la semana, el tema es una palabra japonesa única que describe a los fans del anime.

With respect to the theme, I am actually a fan of anime, although not a staunch fan. My journey with Anime began in 2020 during the Covid Lockdown. I watched the entire 720 episodes of Naruto (220 Naruto + 500 Naruto Shippuden) in 1 months and few days. Then I've also watched others like The Seven Deadly Sins, Bleach, One Piece, Record of Ragnarok, Demon Slayer, Black Clover, Attack on Titan and Fullmetal Alchemist, among others. Some of them I've watched the complete seasons, and others just in part.

Although, prior to beginning my journey with it, I felt it was just a bunch of weird cartoon-like characters fighting and shouting for no reason. Well, at the long run after getting to watch it, I discovered that there's much more to it. Many of which I enjoyed have nice storyline with great philosophies and thoughts on themes that pertain to life; like Peace, unity, and expulsion of pain.

Con respecto al tema, en realidad soy un fan del anime, aunque no un fan incondicional. Mi andadura con el anime comenzó en 2020 durante el Encierro Covid. Vi los 720 episodios completos de Naruto (220 de Naruto + 500 de Naruto Shippuden) en 1 mes y pocos días. Luego también he visto otros como Los Siete Pecados Capitales, Bleach, One Piece, Record of Ragnarok, Demon Slayer, Black Clover, Attack on Titan y Fullmetal Alchemist, entre otros. De algunas de ellas he visto las temporadas completas, y de otras sólo una parte.

Aunque, antes de empezar mi andadura con ella, me parecía que no era más que un montón de extraños personajes de dibujos animados peleándose y gritando sin motivo. Bueno, a la larga, después de verla, descubrí que es mucho más que eso. Muchas de las películas que he disfrutado tienen una bonita historia con grandes filosofías y reflexiones sobre temas relacionados con la vida, como la paz, la unidad y la eliminación del dolor.

Well, for my presentation this week, I chose to do something different from the theme. I decided to present one of my most cherished love songs, A Thousand Years by Christina Perri.

I've presented a cover of this song before on Hive, but this will be my first time singing. Other times I only gave a guitar cover, but this time around, I'll play the rhythm with my guitar and sing along.

Bueno, para mi presentación de esta semana, elegí hacer algo diferente del tema. Decidí presentar una de mis canciones de amor más queridas, A Thousand Years de Christina Perri.

He presentado una versión de esta canción antes en Hive, pero esta será mi primera vez cantando. Otras veces sólo hice una versión con la guitarra, pero esta vez tocaré el ritmo con la guitarra y cantaré con ella.
