My preparation and experience in the 2nd Edition of the Street Workout Duals Battles🔥

El domingo 11 de Junio se realizó la segunda edición de la Street Workout Duals Battles en el centro comercial Parque los Aviadores, ubicado en el Estado Aragua, Maracay. Estuvieron presentes atletas locales y visitantes de otras partes del país para demostrar sus mejores habilidades y capacidades físicas en esta segunda edición. También estuvieron presentes atletas de élite del país de Colombia que viajaron hasta Venezuela para formar parte de la mesa del jurado en esta edición.

On Sunday, June 11, the second edition of the Street Workout Duals Battles was held at the Parque los Aviadores shopping center, located in the State of Aragua, Maracay. Local athletes and visitors from other parts of the country were present to demonstrate their best skills and physical abilities in this second edition. Elite athletes from the country of Colombia who traveled to Venezuela to be part of the jury table in this edition were also present.

En esta edición mi dúo estuvo conformado por Manuel Cancine @manuelcancine del Estado Apure y mi persona Kelvin Herrera @kelvinh-sew del Estado Lara, Ambos tuvimos una buena preparación, trabajamos muy duro todos estos meses y logramos quedar Subcampeones de esta edición y clasificar a México junto a los Campeones Alvis Orozco @alvis-sw y Jesus Rangel @jisus-swyc ambos del Estado Apure.

In this edition my duo was made up of Manuel Cancine @manuelcancine from Apure State and myself Kelvin Herrera @kelvinh-sew from Lara State. Mexico together with the Champions Alvis Orozco @alvis-sw and Jesus Rangel @jisus-swyc both from Apure State.

Mi preparación para esta competencia fue de aproximadamente seis meses en la que además de sólo prepararme también estaba luchando con una lesión de muñeca que tenía desde el año pasado. Fue un proceso difícil prepararme para una competencia mientras tenía algunas molestias que me limitaban a realizar ciertos movimientos, sin embargo todos estos meses me acompañó mi fisioterapeuta que gracias a él el proceso fue mucho más fácil y logré prepararme mejor y llegar en buena forma a esta segunda edición

My preparation for this competition was approximately six months in which, in addition to just preparing, I was also struggling with a wrist injury that I had since last year. It was a difficult process to prepare for a competition while I had some discomfort that limited me to perform certain movements, however all these months my physiotherapist accompanied me and thanks to him the process was much easier and I was able to prepare better and arrive in good shape for this second edition

El desempeño que tuve junto a Manuel Cancine @manuelcancine fue increíble, sobre todo porque estamos en diferentes ciudades y no pudimos practicar nada juntos lo cuál nos hizo estar un poco por debajo del resto ya que todos habían preparado y practicado sus rondas juntos, sin embargo logramos sincronizar nuestros combos y dar lo mejor de nosotros en cada ronda y por más que no logramos el primer lugar solo por el hecho de no haber practicado juntos e igual haber tenido un gran desempeño logrando el segundo lugar marca una gran diferencia con el resto

The performance I had together with Manuel Cancine @manuelcancine was incredible, especially since we are in different cities and we couldn't practice anything together, which made us a little below the rest since everyone had prepared and practiced their rounds together, however we managed to synchronize our combos and give our best in each round and even though we didn't get first place just because we didn't practice together and still having a great performance achieving second place makes a big difference with the rest

Para finalizar quiero felicitar a todos los atletas que participaron en esta edición, la verdad quedé sorprendido por el gran desempeño y nivel qué demostraron! También quiero agradecer a HIVE y SWC en especial a Manuel Ramos @manuelramos por la gran oportunidad que nos dan a todos los atletas tanto a nivel nacional como internacional. Como atleta puedo decir que gracias a todo el apoyo que nos brindan tenemos una razón para seguir entrenando y haciendo lo que nos gusta y nos motiva que es este increíble disciplina llamada Street Workout🙌🏼

Finally, I want to congratulate all the athletes who participated in this edition, I was really surprised by the great performance and level they showed! I also want to thank HIVE and SWC, especially Manuel Ramos @manuelramos for the great opportunity they give all athletes, both nationally and internationally. As an athlete I can say that thanks to all the support you give us, we have a reason to continue training and doing what we like and what motivates us, which is this incredible discipline called Street Workout🙌🏼
