Hola Amigos de Hive y de la comunidad Villa De Cura. Lamento mucho mi ausencia la semana pasada, pero aquí estoy una vez más con ustedes en este Festival de música Tradicional y Folclórica semana #15.

Les traigo un hermoso y romántico tema del compositor Guayanes Manuel Yánez, "Viajera del rio".
Se trata de una canción en ritmo de Vals, de la región de Guayana, Venezuela. El vals venezolano, puede decirse que es, una adaptación de este ritmo bailable, el cual es internacional y proveniente de Austria, a los estándares de la música y la cultura venezolana.
En Venezuela mantiene el compás de ¾, aunque con una variante de ritmos internos del compás, pasando de la simple combinación de blancas, negras y corcheas, a la incorporación de sincopas características de la música venezolana. Es importante señalar que este ritmo es la base de otros ritmos y genero musicales venezolanos como el joropo, quien toma y complejiza dicho ritmo. El instrumento con que se hace acompañar en Venezuela es principalmente el Cuatro, aunque podemos escuchar en muchas interpretaciones otros instrumentos como la guitarra, el bajo, el arpa y la mandolina.
En cuanto al poeta, músico y compositor, Manuel Yánez (1905-2000), oriundo de Ciudad Bolívar, Estado Bolívar – Venezuela, conocido también como el Juglar del Orinoco, fue un destacado compositor, con una obra de más de 350 composiciones musicales, entre las que destacan: merengues criollos, aguinaldos y parrandas, valses, pasos dobles, salsas, canciones patrióticas, joropos, y guarachas.

I bring you a beautiful and romantic song by the Guayanes composer Manuel Yanez, "Viajera del rio".
It is a song in waltz rhythm, from the region of Guayana, Venezuela. The Venezuelan waltz can be said to be an adaptation of this dance rhythm, which is international and comes from Austria, to the standards of Venezuelan music and culture.
