    About :

Greetings to the Afri-tunes community. I am excited to be part of this community and look forward to connecting with everyone, and listening to them as I also try to give meaningful feedback on their. As always, I hope to learn a thing or two from the community.

The song I am submitting as my entry for week 69 is titled Na You by Dunsin Oyekan and Kin Burrell. I hope the community enjoys the song and takes something meaningful from it. Na You is a beautiful song that exalts God. Its lyrics are powerful and its melody is captivating. It reminds us that God is the source of all our strength and hope. We can find peace and joy when we put our trust in Him.

Also, It talks about God's mercy being everlasting and overwhelming. There are times when we feel we don't deserve certain things, but God, in his mercy, still grants them to us. His mercy is limitless and never-ending, even when our faith is weak. We should recognize and be thankful for this mercy, and strive to be worthy of it.

Life has taught me the importance of trusting in God's plan during difficult and trying times. It's hard to understand why some things happen, and why others don't. But I know that God's plan is perfect in its own way, and I will continue to trust Him and be thankful for His mercy. I believe that His mercy will bring us all peace and joy in the end.

We need to understand that God is in control and will never leave us. Remember that everything works together for the good of those who love God.

While recording this song, I faced some challenges, including getting the harmonies right, making sure I wasn't singing off-beat or going flat. Kim Burrell's part was quite technical for me. I have listened to a few of her songs before and noticed that she is the kind of singer who loves riffs and runs and plays around with them when she is singing.

Each time I listen to amazing musicians like that, I always want to keep doing my best to get better and become a better singer.
So towards the end of the song, as I couldn't keep up with the ad-libs,, I just did my own thing. I have known the song for a long time but have never taken the time to score it.

While I was thinking of a song I should sing for AFRITUNES, I decided to just attempt this one.

Due to its duration exceeding five minutes, Moises cut the instrumentals. But I was able to work with what was left.

Hope you enjoy listening to this.
