Indonesia Bersatu Live Perform at Hospital Jerk Collective Gigs

Hello, Hive brothers and sisters, especially Music Enthusiasts. First, introduce. We are Indonesia Bersatu, a Punk Rock band from Medan, Indonesia. On today's occasion, we would like to show our appearance when we performed yesterday at the "Hospital Jerk Collective Gigs". It was a punk music event organized by street punk community friends in the city of Medan.

At yesterday's punk gig, 12 bands were performing, and we performed in the afternoon bringing 4 of our original songs. The first song we performed was titled "Buktikan". This song is our proof of a better change. Right now the power system is making us worse off. Even so, we do not want to continue to submit to an oppressive power system. We have to rise and fight for a better change. We have to prove that power cannot oppress us.

The second song entitled "Mengapa oh Mengapa" is the original song on our second album. This song is a question that is difficult for us to answer. In this song, we question a country that is fertile and prosperous. Natural wealth is abundant, but the people are poor and oppressed. Many people struggle in their lives to get nutrition for their children. Many scholars are smart but unemployed. Many elderly people are stranded on the streets and are not cared for. Why can it happen like this? That question is in our song.

The third song that we bring is "Street Punk Oi Oi" which is a spirit of the youth and rebels to continue to fight against oppression and condemn the authorities who often shackle the rebellious youths. This song is also our dedication to our street punk community friends who inspire us to stand strong in the face of the storms of life that keep hitting us. A punk individual must survive and fight hard life. There are no whiny and spoiled punks.

And the last song we performed at the punk gig was titled "Kaum Marjinal". This song is a song that has been around since our first album. This song raises complex and deep issues about the relationship between politics, injustice, and marginalized groups in society. People should not be victims of political corruption. Because the basic principle of government is to serve the public interest and protect human rights. People should not become victims of injustice perpetrated by political elites. Social justice must be upheld. This song invites everyone to move to create equality and fair opportunities for all people, including the marginalized.

We are very happy to appear at the Gigs Punk event. At yesterday's event, local bands and event organizers supported each other in strengthening the local punk music community. Through participating and performing at Gigs Punk events, our band is also able to network, build relationships with fellow musicians, and share important music and messages. For punk bands like us, participating in Gigs and events can be an important platform to continue to champion the punk spirit through music. Thank You.
