EL DÍA QUE HICE 2024 FLEXIONES [ESP|ENG]

El 1 de enero de 2024, realice un reto que me puso mi compañero Luis Arrazola (@luisarrazola) donde completaba un reto de 2024 flexiones en un día. La idea me agrado. Era una oportunidad para poner a prueba mis propios límites.

Comencé con la mente y el cuerpo preparados para la batalla. Dividí las flexiones en series, y a medida que el tiempo pasaba y la congestión se hacía mayor, obviamente mi número de repeticiones por series iba bajando. Hacía descansos breves entre cada una. La música me ayudó a mantener el ritmo y la motivación durante las horas que duró el reto. Siento que maneje bien mi estrategia.

Mentiría si dijera que fue fácil. Hubo momentos de duda, de dolor muscular, de querer rendirme. Sin embargo, la imagen de mí, completando el reto, me impulsaba a seguir adelante. Pensé en todas las personas que me habían apoyado desde que comencé en el mundo de la calistenia, Y otras tonterías, ya saben… motivación de inicio de año.

Finalmente, después de horas de esfuerzo, ¡lo logré! Completé las 2024 flexiones. La sensación de satisfacción y orgullo que me invadió en ese momento fue indescriptible. Ese reto me ha confirmado que los límites solo están en la mente. Cuando nos proponemos algo con determinación y esfuerzo, podemos lograr cosas increíbles.

Quiero agradecer a Luis Arrazola por inspirarme a tomar este desafío. Pido disculpas por todo lo que me tarde en subir el video. El proceso de editar el video del reto fue largo y complejo, porque son muchas tomas. Pero finalmente está disponible para que puedan verlo. Es un testimonio de mi esfuerzo y un ejemplo de que todo es posible si nos lo proponemos.

On January 1, 2024, I did a challenge that my partner Luis Arrazola (@luisarrazola) set me where I completed a challenge of 2024 push-ups in one day. I liked the idea. It was an opportunity to test my own limits.

I started with my mind and body ready for battle. I divided the push-ups into sets, and as time went on and the congestion got worse, obviously my number of reps per set went down. I took short breaks between each one. The music helped me keep up the pace and motivation throughout the hours of the challenge. I feel I managed my strategy well.

I would be lying if I said it was easy. There were moments of doubt, of muscle pain, of wanting to give up. However, the image of me completing the challenge kept me going. I thought of all the people who had supported me since I started in the world of calisthenics, And other nonsense, you know... start of the year motivation.

Finally, after hours of effort, I did it! I completed the 2024 push-ups. The feeling of satisfaction and pride that came over me at that moment was indescribable. That challenge has confirmed to me that limits are only in the mind. When we set our minds to something with determination and effort, we can achieve incredible things.

I want to thank Luis Arrazola for inspiring me to take on this challenge. I apologize for the time it took me to upload the video. The process of editing the video of the challenge was long and complex, because there are many takes. But it is finally available for you to watch. It is a testimony of my effort and an example that everything is possible if we put our minds to it.
