Last Saturday Oct 1, 2022. Since the 2 cousins of my wife visited us here in Amsterdam
from Norway. They decided to visit the Oldest Church here in Amsterdam "Oude Kerk"
Going up to the tower of the church is no problem. The problem and more scary is the going down.
As I have displayed in the video the quick history of Oude Kerk. For those who can't read it since its quite small in the video. You can read below the quick history of the Church.
The Oude Kerk (English: Old Church) is Amsterdam’s oldest building and youngest art institutes. The building was founded circa 1213 and consecrated in 1306 by the bishop of Utrecht with Saint Nicolas as its patron saint. After the Reformation in 1578, it became a Calvinist church, which it remains today. It stands in De Wallen, now Amsterdam's main red-light district. The square surrounding the church is the Oudekerksplein.
