Afritunes week 79 || 'Bibanke' (when I'm crying) cover by Glorydee

Hello, Afritunes community!

So glad to make it to week 79, It's been a hell of a week for me, even though it's just the middle of the week, having to face some personal challenges after several trials of trying my best to avoid the big shock and hurt I felt afterward that got me weakened and my back up against the wall, hmmm, well such is life, good and bad things happen, but we shouldn't dwell on the hurt, it's okay to cry, feel every emotion and move on afterward, so yea, I've felt the hurt, I've cried that I feel numb right now, absolutely nothing, I know its a stage as well, all I look forward to now Is doing things that makes me feel at ease and happy and music Is always my getaway and soul lifter.

I was still trying to decide on a song cover for this week when I came across @merit.ahama TTT ThreeTunesTuesday post, and the first on her list is *Bibanke by Asa, immediately, I knew this was the song for me this week, Asa's voice strengthens me in my down moments, and this song was just all I needed to know that its ok to cry, the lyrics are about a heartbroken lady, who cried after her heart was shattered and she said, she should be left alone, I have heard this song severally for long and always wondered why she asked to be left alone when crying, I mean, don't we all need to be comforted while crying, it took for me to really know how it feels, and then I realized that she wanted to cry it all to come back stronger.

Ending the song, she sang about leaving all her pains at God's hands to take charge, same as me, I'm leaving all my worries at God's hands to take charge, He is the best comforter.
