¡Hola mis amores!

En esta oportunidad les comparto la celebración del Domingo de Ramos, en la ciudad de Villa de cura – Edo. Aragua, Venezuela; fecha que marca el inicio de la semana santa, donde en fe cristiana se recuerda la entrada triunfal de Jesús a Jerusalén.

Villa de cura en Semana Santa

Villa de cura pueblo pequeño en población y espacio pero grande en tradición y fe, celebra la Semana Santa con una energía que nos lleva a la reflexión de cómo fue aclamado el llamado mesías cuando todos lo veían como el hacedor de milagro.

Aquí la celebración inicia en El Calvario zona en el casco central de la ciudad donde se congrega la población para recibir palmas y ramas de arboles nativos, con la esperanza que la bendición del cielo sea transmitida a través de ella.

Las palmas son traidas de San Rosa una zona agricultora de la localidad por parte de la sociedad del Santo Sepulcro, figura insigne de la población y el país.

Hello my loves!

In this opportunity I share with you the celebration of Palm Sunday, in the city of Villa de cura - Aragua State, Venezuela; date that marks the beginning of the holy week, where in Christian faith the triumphal entry of Jesus to Jerusalem is remembered.

Villa de cura in Holy Week

Villa de cura, a small town in population and space but big in tradition and faith, celebrates Holy Week with an energy that leads us to reflect on how the so-called messiah was acclaimed when everyone saw him as the miracle worker.

Here the celebration begins in El Calvario area in the central part of the city where the population congregates to receive palms and branches of native trees, with the hope that the blessing of heaven will be transmitted through it.

The palms are brought from San Rosa, an agricultural area of the town by the society of the Holy Sepulcher, a distinguished figure of the population and the country.

Juntos como hermanos

En procesión el poblado de Villa de Cura se dirige hacia la Gruta de Lourdes para recibir la bendición completa de sus plantas que en muchos hogares son colocadas y obsequiadas para alejar todo el mal y peligro.

Es una tradición especial vestir colores pastel o cálidos para ir en copas de lo que las fechas venideras representan y muchos afirman sentir una paz indescriptible al salir de misa.

Una familia con tradición

En mi familia se tiene la costumbre del uso de la palmas para confeccionar pequeñas cruces en son colocadas en puertas, ventanas y carteras, mientras una parte de ella se obsequia en símbolo de armonía y redención.

Personalmente, tengo un cariño especial a las fechas por lo que no pude evitar compartir algunas imágenes con ustedes.

Together as brothers and sisters

In procession the people of Villa de Cura go to the Lourdes Grotto to receive the complete blessing of their plants that in many homes are placed and given as gifts to ward off all evil and danger.

It is a special tradition to wear pastel or warm colors to go in cups of what the coming dates represent and many claim to feel an indescribable peace when leaving mass.

A family with tradition

In my family we have the custom of using palms to make small crosses that are placed on doors, windows and purses, while a part of it is given as a symbol of harmony and redemption.

Personally, I have a special affection for the dates so I could not help but share some images with you.
