¡Hola amores!

Hace poco salí de mi zona de confort nuevamente y decidí grabar en público para enfrentar un poco mis miedos.

Mi profesor de periodismo nos envió como actividad realizar un vídeo para redes sociales en el tema de opinión, un género grandioso y controversial, así que no quise desaprovechar la oportunidad (ni el outfit) para grabarles un vídeo de esos donde les abro el corazón, enviando la mejor energía y les dejo mi consejo no solicitado: “Actúa, cree y brilla”.

Hello loves!

I recently stepped out of my comfort zone again and decided to record in public to face my fears a bit.

My journalism professor sent us as an activity to make a video for social networks on the topic of opinion, a great and controversial genre, so I didn't want to miss the opportunity (nor the outfit) to record one of these videos where I open my heart to you, sending the best energy and leaving you my unsolicited advice: "Act, believe and shine".

Actúa

Actuar tiene muchos sentidos y definiciones dependiendo del contexto, en cuanto a toma de acción se trata de dejar a un lado las excusas para poner en práctica lo que queremos y alcanzar lo que anhelamos.

Soy una persona algo tímida, y hace mucho tiempo se debió a temas de autoestima, llegué al punto de no sentirme cómoda con lo que veía en el espeja y a considerarme poco atractiva e infravaloraba cada aspecto que me hacía especial.

Pasé muchos años queriendo hacer todo, por miedo no hacía nada y de eso solo quedó un sentimiento de frustración, vacío y culpa. Un día me cansé y decidí probar frente al espejo de otra manera.

Comencé a mirar lo que me resultaba atractivo, para pasar a lo que me hacía especial. Día tras día me repetí y luego comencé a escribir cosas bonitas para mí, las cuales repetía cada día. Me convencí que aunque imperfecta mi valor era incalculable y en mi vida todo cambió.

Act

Acting has many meanings and definitions depending on the context, in terms of taking action is about leaving aside the excuses to put into practice what we want and achieve what we long for.

I am a somewhat shy person, and a long time ago it was due to self-esteem issues, I got to the point of not feeling comfortable with what I saw in the mirror, I came to consider myself unattractive and undervalued every aspect that made me special.

I spent many years wanting to do everything, out of fear I did nothing and from that I was left with a feeling of frustration, - emptiness and guilt. One day I got tired and decided to try another way in front of the mirror.

I began to look at what I found attractive, to move on to what made me special. Day after day I repeated myself and then I began to write nice things for myself, which I repeated every day. I became convinced that although imperfect my value was incalculable and in my life everything changed.

No creo todos los días en mí, hay días en los que debo darme dos empujones y miles de sonrisas fingidas (que luego se vuelven reales) para continuar, pero con certeza sé que creyendo en mi puedo lograr lo que quiero y merezco.

No lo digo yo, lo dice todo el mundo: “Recibes lo crees que mereces”, y aun no manejo la verdad absoluta del asunto, pero tengo pruebas reales que cuando te sitúas en una posición de importancia en tu vida solo atraes lo positivo.

No te pediré que creas en ti sin tapujos, pero que tal si construimos esa versión maravillosa exaltando lo que ya nos hace una persona única.

Believe

I don't believe in myself every day, there are days when I have to give myself two pushes and thousands of fake smiles (that later become real) to continue, but I know for sure that by believing in myself I can achieve what I want and deserve.

I don't say it myself, everyone says it: "You get what you believe you deserve", and even though I don't know the absolute truth of the matter, but I have real proof that when you place yourself in a position of importance in your life you only attract the positive.

I won't ask you to believe in yourself, but what if we build that wonderful version by exalting what already makes us a unique person.

Brilla

Brillar para mi es sonreír porque quieres y puedes, sin importar el sentido de los acontecimientos es entender que la felicidad está sujeta a esa persona que miras frente al espejo y que nadie posee el poder de hacerte sentir distinto (en un sentido negativo, por ejemplo).

Quieres brillar mostrando tus logros por pequeños que sean, adelante.
Quieres brillar porque tienes la oportunidad de construir una nueva versión, que nada te detenga.
Quieres brillar porque solo así encontrarás la felicidad, está bien.
Brilla porque cada persona tiene un “no sé qué” que lo hace un universo lleno de vida, en un mundo donde transita cierta cuota de oscuridad.
Brilla porque lo mereces y el universo está allí para entregarte lo mejor.
Brilla porque eres un ser con alto valor.

Así que…

Les deseo las mayores de las bendiciones y de corazón que la vida siempre les sonría, un abrazo.

Shine

To shine for me is to smile because you want to and you can, regardless of the meaning of the events is to understand that happiness is subject to that person you look at in front of the mirror and that no one has the power to make you feel different (in a negative sense, for example).

- You want to shine by showing your accomplishments however small they may be, go ahead. - You want to shine because you have the opportunity to build a new version of yourself, let nothing stop you. - You want to shine because that's the only way you will find happiness, that's fine. - Shine because every person has a "I don't know what" that makes him/her a universe full of life, in a world where there is a certain amount of darkness. - Shine because you deserve it and the universe is there to give you the best. - Shine because you are a being with high value.
