Ya no quiero quedarme ni una semana sin participar...aunque sepa que mi canción estará repetida (xD) porque a fin de cuentas cada quien le imprime a un cover su esencia particular- Esta semana les traigo una canción que ya habrán visto por aquí y se llama El Papagayo, es una canción que la verdad me encanta mucho, el grupo vocal que la interpreta Serenata Guayanesa son Patrimonio Cultural de Venezuela, un cuarto que supo llenar de magía la infancia de muchos niños, entre ellos me cuento, criados en la década de los 80s y, por supuesto, de años subsiguientes. Sin embargo creo que son un sello de la música venezolana de los 80s.

I don't want to stay even a week without participating... although I know that my song will be repeated (xD) because at the end of the day everyone gives a cover their own particular essence- This week I bring you a song that you may have already seen here and it is called El Papagayo, it is a song that I really love, the vocal group that performs it Serenata Guayanesa are Cultural Heritage of Venezuela, a room that knew how to fill with magic the childhood of many children, among them I count myself, raised in the 80s and, of course, in the following years. However, I believe that they are a hallmark of Venezuelan music of the 80s.

Ojalá en las escuelas sigan sonando sus canciones porque con ellas se aprende a querer y a apreciar la música venezolana, escucharles es un gran acercamiento a un imaginario precioso, animales que cantan para saber qué llevarán en la boda de La Pulga y el Piojo así como el casamiento de la luna con el granito arroz. El aspecto lúdico de las canciones de Serenata Guayanesa es encantador, todo niño venezolano merece escucharles mientras se alejan de canciones con letras vacías y ritmos más que repetitivos.

I hope their songs continue to be played in schools because with them one learns to love and appreciate Venezuelan music, listening to them is a great approach to a precious imaginary, animals that sing to know what they will wear at the wedding of La Pulga y el Piojo as well as the marriage of the moon with the rice granite. The playful aspect of Serenata Guayanesa's songs is charming, every Venezuelan child deserves to listen to them as they move away from songs with empty lyrics and more than repetitive rhythms.

En esta canción se presenta el juego de hacer un papagayo, por cierto ¿cuántos niños venezolanos jugarán con un papagayo actualmente?, ese papagayo tricolor con su amarillo, azul y rojo representa nuestra bandera, una de las estrofas que más me encanta es aquella que dice: quiero hacer un papagayo, para aprender a volar y que juegue con el viento la bandera nacional, siempre me llena de mucha emoción interpretar canciones de mi país, por allí me perdí en dos acordes (xD), siempre la voz por encima de mis manos (jajaja).

This song presents the game of making a parrot, by the way how many Venezuelan children play with a parrot nowadays, that tricolor parrot with its yellow, blue and red represents our flag, one of the verses that I love the most is the one that says: I want to make a parrot, to learn to fly and play with the wind the national flag, it always fills me with a lot of emotion to interpret songs of my country, over there I got lost in two chords (xD), always the voice above my hands (hahaha).

Siempre digo que lanzo melodías al viento solo para verlas volar y seguramente que se encuentran con los papagayos que los niños hacen volar al viento, vuelen melodías, vuelen lejos y lleguen a mucho corazones...
