El mundo del arte pica y se extiende, con el conocimiento al alcance de la mano, EnfocArt ha tenido la oportunidad de vivir nuevas experiencias, y detrás de cada persona que crea un lazo con nuestro contenido, está el trabajo, el esfuerzo y la dedicación al crear y creer. Para esta ocasión fuimos guiadas de la mano al mundo más querido, lleno de ingenio y amor, el arte de la jugueteria artesanal.

Gran parte de los juegos y los juguetes que hoy en día conocemos vienen vigentes de las civilizaciones antiguas, lo mismo que entretenía a los más pequeños hace miles de años es prácticamente lo mismo que lo utilizado ahora: muñecas, carros, casitas, pelotas, aros, canicas, yoyós, trompos y demás. Los primeros juguetes de sitúan en Mesopotamia, los pequeños se entretenían con las tabas, que no eran más que huesos de animales, y se también con canicas, pelotas, yoyós y peonzas, todo esto lo conocemos gracias a la arqueología.

La evaluación trajo consigo más y más ideas para hacer de los juguetes algo más atractivo, todo ello conllevó una transformación auténtica gracias a la revolución industrial. Sin embargo, los juguetes artesanales siguen siendo de gran interés para los más pequeños, por esa razón, cuando tuvimos la oportunidad de entrevistar a un juguetero profesional, decidimos que era momento de darle voz a esta hermosa profesión que abarca más allá de lo que se ve a simple vista.

Much of the games and toys that we know today come from ancient civilizations, the same thing that entertained the little ones thousands of years ago is practically the same as what is used now: dolls, cars, houses, balls, hoops , marbles, yo-yos, spinning tops and others. The first toys are located in Mesopotamia, the little ones were entertained with the knucklebones, which were nothing more than animal bones, and also with marbles, balls, yo-yos and spinning tops, we know all this thanks to archaeology.

The evaluation brought with it more and more ideas to make toys more attractive, all of which led to a real transformation thanks to the industrial revolution. However, handmade toys are still of great interest to the little ones, for that reason, when we had the opportunity to interview a professional toymaker, we decided it was time to give voice to this beautiful profession that goes beyond what is known. see with the naked eye.

Jesus Torcatt es un hombre dedicado, oriundo de Güiria, la peninsula de Paria Estado Sucre, de joven vivió en Caracas, Capital de Venezuela, y al enamorarse se instaló a vivir en el Estado Aragua.

Es un talentoso artista plástico desde los 13 años, con más de 58 años en el mundo del arte. Nos relató su evaluación, de cómo ahora es artista plástico, docente y juguetero miniaturista. Representando una de las figuras del arte más importantes que tiene actualmente Aragua.

He is a talented plastic artist since he was 13 years old, with more than 58 years in the art world. He told us his evaluation of how he is now a plastic artist, teacher and miniaturist toymaker. Representing one of the most important art figures that Aragua currently has.

Ya hemos hablado de muchas formas de expresar el arte, y cómo influye en nuestra vida. Para Jesus Torcatt es la mayor expresión del ser humano. Destaca que "el arte sirve para divertirse, a pesar del mal caracter que tienen muchos artistas, lo expresan en su trabajo, el amor."

We have already talked about many ways to express art, and how it influences our lives. For Jesus Torcatt it is the greatest expression of the human being. He highlights that "art is for fun, despite the bad character that many artists have, they express it in their work, love."

Tuvimos la hermosa experiencia de observar como este audaz se humano creaba juguetes, transmitiendo amor y diversión a las demás personas. Cuando en la Edad Media se introdujeron nuevos materiales para su fabricación, como el vidrio, y en el Renacimiento se perfeccionaron y se convirtieron, en algunos casos, en artículos de lujo, también se comenzó a cavar el hueco de lo que más adelante vendría siendo una de las principales causas del daño al planeta tierra: la contaminación. El plástico terminó siendo un desecho perturbador para ecosistema, y las desgracias las estamos viviendo en la actualidad, una de las ideas centrales del trabajo de Torcatt es su forma de aportar una ayuda que muchos ignoran: ♻️ el reciclaje.♻️

We had the beautiful experience of observing how this audacious human being created toys, transmitting love and fun to other people. When new materials were introduced for its manufacture in the Middle Ages, such as glass, and in the Renaissance they were perfected and became, in some cases, luxury items, the hole also began to be dug for what would later become one of the main causes of damage to planet earth: pollution. Plastic ended up being a disturbing waste for the ecosystem, and we are currently experiencing misfortunes, one of the central ideas of Torcatt's work is his way of providing a help that many ignore: ♻️ recycling.♻️

"Hay muchos que hablan de los juguetes tradicionales, yo prefiero hablar de la tradición de hacer juguetes y mi gran pasión en esa área es enseñar a los niños a hacer sus propios juguetes y para eso, la materia prima es lo que tenga al alcance el niño; una botella vacía, una tarjeta de teléfono, unas tapas de refresco..."

"There are many who talk about traditional toys, I prefer to talk about the tradition of making toys and my great passion in that area is teaching children to make their own toys and for that, the raw material is whatever is available to the child; an empty bottle, a phone card, some soda caps..."

El señor Jesus relata además que en su infancia se hacían juguetes a partir de materiales naturales, 🌱🎎taparas o semillas de mango, esos eran los elementos importantes hasta que llegó en gran escala el plástico a todos lados. Y se fue perdiendo el valor sentimental por la artesanía, algo hecho con dedicación. El trabajo de Torcatt predica el amor, que es lo principal para poder crear arte ya que se hace con esfuerzo, es la mejor manera de realizar algo, que venga del corazón; para este hombre el transmitir alegría a los más pequeños del hogar con sus talentosas manos y enseñarlos a cuidar el planeta es una meta única y especial.

Quedamos agradecidas y contentas con el Señor Jesus Torcatt, una persona muy relajada, creativa y apasionada con lo que le gusta, ¡la creación! Da importancia a la imaginación de los niños con el uso de materiales reutilizables, algo digno de admirar.
