I could finish this post by saying it is not possible to convert fat to muscle. Fat and Muscle are 2 different tissues but some people need more than that.
People say it a lot when they start working out. It sounds like a bonanza many times.
If it were possible you could shake the fat in the market and it would turn into muscle.
It is like saying you want to change a plastic chair into a steel door.
It is not exactly harmful information. Fitness is a science and all these non-fitness-based trainers need to know that it is not really possible. It might look like that is what is happening but that is not really the case.
You are probably doing 5 to 6 days of workouts maybe even 7. You are main gaining maintaining your body fat percentage while building muscle (I got to realise the correct process of this concept later after making the video). The real thing it is is Body composition.

you want to pay attention to pay closer attention to your clothes and your energy levels.
Muscle has more density than fat so you'll look lean but your weight might stay the same.
Building muscle also helps in the gym too. But a lot of people say that it very negligible but don't let that stop you.
I already explained what happens on a tissue level. Fat and Muscle are different structurally and functionally and more when you look at them on a cellular level
Just think about what they do to food
Food | Muslce | Fat |
---|---|---|
Carbs | Oxidise > Energy, Liver> Gycogen Storage | Can't use > Fatty Acid |
Protein | Broken down> Muscle Proteins (More so less than 20 years) | Adipokines which are proinflammatory but also lead to insulin resistance > DM |
All in all, thinking you are converting muscle to fat will not resurrect Hitler to be your gym body. But it helps to know the mechanism through which you are doing what you are doing.
