Hello! By this time, January 1st, I want to start the year off on the right foot! But first of all I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year! Well for this opportunity I decided to cover a song from the iconic Russian band T.a.T.u. with their song "Perfect Enemy". I must say that this girl duo were my favourites for years, the vocals, the catchy and rebellious songs made the listening experience phenomenal. Lena and Julia, they were part of my set list for a long time and I love almost all of their songs. Before Katy Perry with her "I kiss a Girl", they were the first to involve the audience with songs of this kind. Which in those years was something very frowned upon and it would take time for these types of songs to be taken more lightly and be accepted. Although I consider T.a.T.u. to be a band that goes beyond that classification of girls in school uniforms singing about young love, it is for me, a couple of girls who sing very well and who forged songs that touched on taboos and stigmas.

¡Hola! Para este momento, 1 de Enero, ¡Quiero empezar el año con buen pie! Pero antes de nada quiero desear un ¡Feliz año nuevo a todos! Pues para esta oportunidad he decidido versionar una canción de la icónica banda rusa T.a.T.u. con su canción "Perfect Enemy". Debo decir que este dúo de chicas fueron mis favoritas por años, las voces, las canciones pegadizas y rebeldes hacían de la experiencia de escucharlas algo fenomenal. Lena y Julia, formaron parte de mi set list por mucho tiempo y casi todas sus canciones me encantan. Fueron antes que Katy Perry con su "I kiss a Girl", las primeras en envolver al público con temas de esta índole. Lo cual para aquellos años era algo muy mal visto y que tomaría tiempo para que este tipo de canciones fueran tomadas más ligeramente y fueran aceptadas. Aunque yo considero que T.a.T.u es una banda que va más allá de esa clasificación de chicas en uniforme escolar cantando sobre amor juvenil, es para mi, un par de chicas que cantan muy bien y que forjaron canciones que tocaban tabúes y estigmas.
