Hola que tal Hivers, espero que todos estén muy bien...

Continuando con nuestro recorrido, bajando desde el Norte del Perú la marea nos llevó hasta la ciudad de Trujillo, y conociendo los alrededores de esa bonita -y grande- ciudad hemos ido a la hermosa ciudad costera de Huanchaco. Es un popular destino turístico por su agradable clima, sus playas de arena blanca, y toda la variedad de actividades que ofrece este lugar. Esta pequeña ciudad ofrece actividades como el surf, el kite surf, kayak, y muchos otros deportes al aire libre, dentro y fuera del mar.

Me gustó mucho ver que recién al llegar hay están unos monumentos que realzan el valor cultural de todos estos territorios, con unas esculturas que evocan diseños y deidades respetadas por la antigua cultura Chimú. Y es que muy cerca de aquí está el Museo de Sitio ChanChan, el cual tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar. Pronto traemos vídeo.

Continuing with our tour, coming down from the North of Peru the tide took us to the city of Trujillo, and getting to know the surroundings of that nice -and big- city we have gone to the beautiful coastal town of Huanchaco. It is a popular tourist destination for its pleasant climate, its white sand beaches, and all the variety of activities that this place offers. This small town offers activities such as surfing, kite surfing, kayaking, and many other outdoor sports, in and out of the sea.

I was very pleased to see that just upon arrival there are some monuments that enhance the cultural value of all these territories, with sculptures that evoke designs and deities respected by the ancient Chimu culture. And very close to here is the ChanChan Site Museum, which we had the opportunity to visit. Soon we will bring video.

La playa es muy bonita, ésta pequeña ciudad costera a las afueras de Trujillo es un lugar que resulta atractivo para turistas y lugareños.

El litoral central de la ciudad se compone de hermosas playas de arena, aguas cristalinas e impresionantes puestas de sol.

Los turistas pueden disfrutar de diversas actividades, entre las que mencionamos, el surf el de las preferidas por turistas y locales. Las olas de Huanchaco son atractivas para principiantes así como para surfistas más experimentados.

El resto del pueblo es bonito y agradable, la municipalidad asoma de espaldas al mar, con sus bonitos detalles, plazas, parques y monumentos bien organizados. Un deleite a la vista...

Las playas están bordeadas de barcas tradicionales de pesca de caña, conocidas como "caballitos de totora", que han sido utilizadas por los pescadores locales durante siglos, desde las tempranas culturas prehispánicas. Las barcas son una pieza única del patrimonio cultural de Huanchaco y un recuerdo de la historia no solo de la ciudad en especial, sinó de todo el Perú ancestral, Moche, Chimú e Inka... La ciudad también alberga una variedad de restaurantes y bares, donde los visitantes pueden degustar los frutos del mar más frescos, la deliciosa cocina local peruana no decepciona jamás.

También hay tiendas de recuerdos y galerías de arte, donde los visitantes pueden encontrar artesanía tradicional peruana, debo decir que las artesanías son excepcionalmente bonitas y específicas, no conseguirás estos materiales ni estas habilidades en otras latitudes. The beaches are lined with traditional reed fishing boats, known as "caballitos de totora", which have been used by local fishermen for centuries, since the early pre-Hispanic cultures. The boats are a unique piece of Huanchaco's cultural heritage and a reminder of the history not only of the town in particular, but of all of ancestral Peru, Moche, Chimú and Inka... Va cayendo la noche... La atmósfera cambia, las personas salen de la playa, van sus casas u hospedajes para arreglarse y salir en el plan de la noche... Muchos lugares nocturnos con buenas comidas y buenas bebidas a la orilla de la playa les esperan. Un ambiente mágico, no de fiesta y de descontrol, pero sí de tranquilidad y despreocupación.

Alcanzamos a tomar algunas fotos del atardecer, quizás no hacen justicia de lo lindo que se ve en la vida real, pero es un recuerdo que ahora podemos compartir juntos.
