Hello my dear Collectors friends, I hope the weekend is great for each one of you and that you have a great time with your loved ones; today I come with more music, the 3rd and last part of my music CD collection. In this episode you will be able to see my arsenal of the heaviest rock and metal, with bands that have marked my adolescence and adulthood and that have been very important musical influences for me through the years.

As in the previous entry, some of these discographic materials I was able to buy in my native country and others are imported. I know that rock and metal lovers will enjoy this post, however, I hope that if you are not a fan of these genres, you will enjoy this content made with love so that we can have a great time together. Without further ado, let's get down to action... Let's Rock! 🤘

Hola mis queridos amigos Collectors, espero que el fin de semana sea grandioso para cada uno de ustedes y que la pasen genial con sus seres amados; hoy vengo con más música, la 3era y última parte de mi colección de CDs musicales. En esta entrega podrán ver mi arsenal de rock y metal más pesado, con bandas que han marcado mi adolescencia y mi adultez y que han sido influencias musicales muy importantes para mi a través de los años.

Como en la entrega anterior, algunos de estos materiales discográficos los pude comprar en mi país natal y otros son importados. Sé que los amantes del rock y el metal disfrutarán mucho este post, sin embargo, espero que de igual forma, si no eres fan de estos géneros, disfrutes de este contenido hecho con mucho cariño para que pasemos un rato muy agradable juntos. Sin más preámbulos pasemos a la acción... ¡A Rockear! 🤘

Let's start with fury, this first batch of albums is very cool; Crazy Town was a very successful band because of their song "Butterfly" which has become a rock classic. This album is very good and it was the one that consolidated the band in the world rock scene. The next album, Ill Niño, is one of the most precious for me; my dad brought it to me on a trip he made to Brazil in 2003, just when it was released, and it is simply incredible for the fusion of Latin rhythms with metal. The next album is amazing; Underoath is one of the pioneer bands of metalcore in the United States and with this album they became known all over the world. The rest of the albums are also imported, they are insane, from Lamb Of God to Cradle Of Filth, being Nymphetamine brought by my dad from Italy in 2004, the same year of release.

Empezamos con furia, este primer lote de discos es muy genial; Crazy Town fue una banda muy exitosa por su canción "Butterfly" que se ha convertido en un clásico del rock. este disco es muy bueno y fue el que terminó de consolidar a la banda en la escena rockera mundial. El disco que sigue, Ill Niño, es uno de los más preciados para mi; mi papá me lo trajo en un viaje que hizo a Brasil en el 2003, justo cuando salió a la venta y es sencillamente increíble por la fusión de ritmos latinos con el metal. El siguiente disco es alucinante; Underoath es una de las bandas pioneras del metalcore en Estados Unidos y con este disco se dieron a conocer en todo el mundo. El resto de discos también son importados, son una locura, desde lamb Of God hasta Cradle Of Filth, siendo Nymphetamine traído por mi papá de Italia en el año 2004, el mismo año de lanzamiento.

These 3 bands are important for Numetal; something they have in common is their macabre look. In the case of Mudvayne, they wear makeup, but in the case of Mushroomhead and Slipknot, they wear terrifying masks that can take away your sleep and awaken in you a sense of uneasiness. All these albums are pure adrenaline, each band in their own style, being Slipknot the main representative because of their fame and their characteristic sound that makes anyone addicted. Of all the albums I own, I love the Mushroomhead one because of its case which is different from the ones we commonly know, since it is black and made of a very cool plastic material because it was the first version that was given to the specialized press by Universal Music; in the video you can appreciate it better and you will understand what I mean.

Estas 3 bandas son importantes para el Numetal; algo que tienen en común es su aspecto macabro. En el caso de Mudvayne, ellos usan maquillaje, pero en el caso de Mushroomhead y Slipknot, usan máscaras aterradoras que pueden quitarte el sueño y despertar en ti una sensación de inquietud. Todos estos discos son adrenalina pura, cada banda a su estilo, siendo Slipknot la representante principal por su fama y su característico sonido que a cualquiera vuelve adicto. De todos los discos que poseo, el de Mushroomhead me encanta por su estuche que es distinto a los que comúnmente conocemos, ya que es negro y de un material plástico muy genial debido a que fue la 1era versión que se le dio a la prensa especializada por parte de Universal Music; en el video pueden apreciarlo mejor y entenderán a que me refiero.

Well, let's just say this is the most important part of the post for me. Recently in a recent music post for the Hive Open Mic, I mentioned that Marilyn Manson has been the artist I have liked the most for his sound and powerful music. Some would call me a fan of his, but I don't consider myself one since fanboy behavior is obsessive, when in reality I have never felt that, but I do consider myself a follower of this controversial rocker's discography. However I also clarified that I don't follow his beliefs or lifestyle, only his musical work, because it seems to me one of the neatest and well done I've ever heard in my life. A few years ago I stopped buying his music because his style changed drastically and the quality of what he did decreased substantially; the albums you see in the picture are the most important of his artistic career and my most valuable albums, especially Mechanical Animals, the one with the blue case, since it was with that album that I started my adventure in heavy metal.

Bien, digamos que esta es la parte más importante para mi del post. Hace poco en un reciente post musical para el Hive Open Mic, mencioné que Marilyn Manson ha sido el artista que más me ha gustado por su sonido y su potente música. Algunos me llamarían fan de él, pero no me considero uno ya que la conducta del fanático es obsesiva, cuando en realidad nunca he sentido eso, pero si me considero un seguidor de la discografía de este polémico rockero. No obstante aclaré también que no sigo sus creencias o estilo de vida, solo su trabajo musical, porque me parece uno de los más pulcros y bien hechos que he escuchado en mi vida. Hace unos años dejé de comprar su música porque su estilo cambió drásticamente y la calidad de lo que hacía disminuyó sustancialmente; los discos que ven en la fotografía son los más importantes de su carrera artística y mis discos más valiosos, especialmente Mechanical Animals, el del estuche azul, ya que con ese disco fue que inicié mi aventura en el heavy metal.

I was never a collector of DVDs because of their cost, at least in my country at the time of the early 2000's their prices could double that of a music disc, which gave priority to a disc in most cases. In spite of this, I was able to get my hands on these DVDs, which I was able to buy at the time and which are simply incredible. Three of them are live concerts and one is just a compilation of music videos of the band; my favorite will always be the one of Iron Maiden, for what it transmits, the sound is so powerful that immerses you in the energy of the audience and the band as if you were there with them, I recommend it with eyes closed if you want to start in this world.

Nunca fui coleccionista de DVDs por sus costos, al menos en mi país para la época de inicios del 2000 sus precios podían duplicar el de un disco musical, lo que daba prioridad a un disco en la mayoría de los casos. A pesar de ello, pude hacerme con estos DVDs que en su momento los pude comprar y que son simplemente increíbles. Tres de ellos son conciertos en vivo y uno es solo un recopilatorio de videos musicales de la banda; mi favorito siempre será el de Iron Maiden, por lo que transmite, el sonido es tan poderoso que te sumerge en la energía del público y la banda como si estuvieras ahí con ellos, lo recomiendo a ojos cerrados por si quieres iniciar en este mundo.

Finally I show you my small collection of magazines that have been with me for years and that I keep as you can see in the pictures together with their practice CDs for guitarists. I also wanted to take the opportunity to show this pair of drumsticks that were given to my brother years ago, belonging to the personalized and exclusive line of the Indian percussionist Trilok Gurtu of the Zildjian brand who are specialists in cymbals for drums and percussion in general. These drumsticks are made of wood and the yellow strip is made of rubber which allows a better grip; they are already used because we tried them many times in our old drum set and I keep them as a relic. Below I leave you a promotional video of the drumsticks and a spectacular concert of this percussion wizard, if you have time, enjoy this video, you will not regret it.

Finalmente les muestro mi pequeña colección de revistas que tienen años conmigo y que las conservo como las ven en las fotos juntos con sus CDs de práctica para guitarristas. También quise aprovechar la ocasión para mostrar este par de baquetas que le regalaron a mi hermano hace años atrás, perteneciente a la línea personalizada y exclusiva del percusionista indio Trilok Gurtu de la marca Zildjian quienes son especialistas en platillos para baterías y percusión en general. Estas baquetas son hechas de madera y la franja amarilla es de goma lo que permite un mejor agarre de las mismas; ya están usadas porque las probamos muchas veces en nuestra antigua batería y las conservo como una reliquia. Abajo les dejo un video promocional de las baquetas y un espectacular concierto de este mago de la percusión, si tienen tiempo, disfruten de ese video, no se arrepentirán.
