Que tal, hivers. Semana 45 del Hive Music festival y está semana también estará cargada del buen rock venezolano en esta nueva presentación para el festival y hoy quiero traerles un cover de bajo de una banda venezolana muy poco conocida en Venezuela, pero en México es bastante conocida y muy seguida por los amantes del rock en español. "O'kills" es una banda venezolana de pop rock en español nacida en Caracas en 2010, pero que debió buscar un rumbo distinto en el 2018 debido a la fuerte crisis que azotó el país en aquellos tiempos, tomando la decisión de cambiar de territorio, moviéndose a México donde se reinventaron y empezaron a sonar con más fuerza, llegando incluso a tener en sus videos a personalidades como "Luisito Comunica" y "Laura Guevara". Por años he ido escuchando muchas de sus canciones, pero lastimosamente es una de las bandas que no logré escuchar en vivo, he tenido la suerte de ver desde rawayana hasta apache en vivo, pasando por caramelos de cianuro y desorden público, pero nunca tuve la oportunidad de ver a los o'kills en vivo. En esta ocasión y para este hermoso festival de música, quiero traerles "lo mejor, lo peor" de esta grandiosa banda venezolana que está haciendo un gran trabajo musical en México, espero les guste.

Howdy, hivers. Week 45 of the Hive Music festival and this week will also be loaded with good Venezuelan rock in this new presentation for the festival and today I want to bring you a bass cover of a Venezuelan band very little known in Venezuela, but in Mexico is quite well known and very followed by lovers of rock in Spanish. "O'kills" is a Venezuelan pop rock band in Spanish born in Caracas in 2010, but had to look for a different direction in 2018 due to the strong crisis that hit the country in those times, taking the decision to change territory, moving to Mexico where they reinvented themselves and began to sound stronger, even having in their videos personalities like "Luisito Comunica" and "Laura Guevara". For years I have been listening to many of their songs, but unfortunately is one of the bands that I never got to hear live, I have been lucky enough to see from rawayana to apache live, through caramelos de cianuro and desorden público, but I never had the opportunity to see o'kills live. On this occasion and for this beautiful music festival, I want to bring you "the best, the worst" of this great Venezuelan band that is doing a great musical work in Mexico, I hope you like it.
