Today is a magnificent day for smile, Bienvenida Borjas de González, who is my grandmother has received yet another recognition, for her great career in more than 50 years in the professional practice of Dentistry, specializing in the care of children, breaking paradigms and stigmas of the fear of the dentist, instilling in each of us who were his patients good dental practices and of course, an unmatched tranquility being at that moment as vulnerable as the visit to the office.

Hoy es un día magnifico para sonreir, Bienvenida Borjas de González, quien es mi abuela ha recibido un reconocimiento mas, por su gran trayectoria en mas de 50 años en el ejercicio profesional de la Odontología, especializándose en la atención de niños, rompiendo paradigmas y estigmas del miedo al odontólogo, inculcando en cada uno de los que fuimos sus pacientes buenas practicas odontológicas y por su puesto, una tranquilidad inigualable al estar en ese momento tan vulnerable como es la visita al consultorio.

It fills me with pride to say that Welcome is my grandmother, she graduated on July 31, 1962, that is, this year she turned 58 as a dentist.

My grandmother graduated with my grandfather Tulio Gonzalez, from the Universidad de los Andes, then they moved to the city of Maracay and together they built many things, both personally and professionally, they had 4 children of which the youngest is my father , and when my father was around 8 years old my grandfather died of cancer.

My grandmother is left alone with her 4 children, many responsibilities, as well as a vocation to service and her career, I must say that she was inspiring, as well as loved by her colleagues and hygienists who accompanied her in good and bad moments.

Me llena de orgullo decir que Bienvenida es mi abuela, ella se graduó el 31 de Julio de 1962, es decir que este año cumplió 58 años como odontóloga.

Mi abuela se graduó junto a mi abuelo Tulio Gonzalez, en la Universidad de los Andes, luego se mudaron a la ciudad de Maracay y juntos construyeron muchas cosas, en el ámbito personal como laboral, tuvieron 4 hijos de los cuales el menor es mi padre, y cuando mi padre tenia al rededor de 8 años mi abuelo muere de cáncer.

Queda mi abuela sola con sus 4 hijos, muchas responsabilidades , así como una vocación al servicio y a su carrera, debo decir que era inspiradora, así como querida por sus colegas e higienistas quienes la acompañaron en buenos y malos momentos.

In 1989, 5 years before I was born, she was in one of the important moments of her career, she ran for the presidency of the Aragua College of Dentists, was recognized by newspapers "Like a woman like few", or "A woman of mettle", who inspired others by her character and determination that has always characterized her even after so many years.

As a patient of my grandmother in the office chair, I must say that she had a technique that I never found again after she retired and did not attend again, she treated her patients with a lot of love and affection, a lot of tolerance when patients could be restless and at the end of the consultations, many recommendations to educate to have good oral hygiene, with all the tact and delicacy that can be had when dealing with children even sometimes small.

El año 1989, 5 años antes de que yo naciera, ella se encontraba en uno de los momentos importantes de su carrera, se postulo a la presidencia del colegio de Odontólogos de Aragua, fue reconocida por diarios "Como una mujer como pocas", o "Una mujer de temple", quien inspiraba a otras por su carácter y determinación que siempre aun después de tantos años la ha caracterizado.

Como paciente de mi abuela en la silla del consultorio, debo decir que tenia una técnica que jamás volví a encontrar después que se jubilo y no volvió a atender, ella trataba a sus pacientes con mucho amor y cariño, mucha tolerancia cuando los pacientes podíamos ser inquietos y al finalizar las consultas, muchas recomendaciones para educar a tener una buena higiene bucal, con todo el tacto y delicadeza que se pueda tener al tratar con niños incluso a veces pequeños.

My grandmother worked in social security for many years, she also had a private practice and was part of the founders of Ceproaragua (Professional Center of University of Aragua State), they are the ones who have given her this recognition, which is defined as the person With a greater professional career, without a doubt it is a very great source of pride and happiness for her and for us her family, because we know all the effort, love and dedication that she put into her years in her career.

Mi abuela trabajo en el seguro social muchos años, también tenia un consultorio privado y fue parte de los fundadores de Ceproaragua (Centro Profesional de Universitarios del Estado Aragua), son ellos mismos quienes le han brindado este reconocimiento, el cual se define como la persona con mayor trayectoria gremial, sin duda alguna es un motivo muy grande de orgullo y felicidad para ella como para nosotros su familia, porque sabemos todo el esfuerzo amor y dedicación que ella plasmo durante años en su carrera.

Currently some of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren are around the world, even so on October 3, some of us joined to make a gift together, each one recorded a video with words for her, congratulating her on the day where it is celebrated his university career, said video was edited by me, and here I share them with you.

Actualmente algunos de sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos nos encontramos al rededor del mundo, aun asi el pasado 3 de Octubre algunos nos unimos para hacer un regalo en conjunto, cada uno grabo un video con palabras para ella, felicitándola por el día donde se celebra su carrera universitaria, dicho video fue editado por mi, y aquí se los comparto.

Espero que esta publicación llegue a muchas personas y quienes me lean logren verla como lo que realmente es, una gran mujer y un ejemplo a seguir.
