Saludos, colegas músicos y amantes de la música. Volvemos al escenario del #openmic para su semana 146. Hay cosas que unen a las personas. En la música, suelen ser los hitos. ¿Quién no ha oído hablar de The Beatles? Esta banda británica marcó un antes y después en la música a nivel mundial. Estoy seguro que aunque no seas el gran más grande de esta agrupación, te vas a encontrar alguna canción que te va a encantar.

Esta que traigo en cover es Yesterday, una composición de John Lennon. No es mi canción favorita de The Beatles porque no conozco toda su discografía. La anécdota que tengo sobre esta pieza es que no papá la solía cantar mucho. También es la típica canción que se utiliza mucho en los cursos de inglés. Incluso en la universidad me llegué a topar con ella en una que otra lección.

Así de relevante ha sido esta banda que las letras de sus canciones se usan en el contexto educativo.

Espero que este cover sea de su agrado. Tenía tiempo sin divertirme tanto con una grabación.

Me gustaría saber si tienen alguna recomendación con respecto a esta banda. Para mí son una refenrecia grande, pero no es algo que haya escuchado mucho. Dejen sus recomendaciones en la sección de comentarios y me armaré una playlist para escucharlas todas.

Yesterday Cover 🎶🎵

Greetings, my fellow musicians and music lovers. I'm back on the stage of #openmic on its week 146. There many things that bring people together. In music, we could mention milestones. Who hasn't heard about The Beatles? This British band marked the beginning of a new era on music. I'm sure that even if you're not the biggest fan of them, you have a song you like a lot.

For my performance, I'm paying Yesterday by John Lennon. It isn't my favorite song from sthe Beatles. I don't have one since I don't know the whole repertoire of this band. But I have a story. My dad used to sing this a lot. Also, it's a very common song to find in learning material. I found it in English courses I took and even when I was a teacher in training back in college.

This stands as a statement of the relevance of this band even in the educational context.

I hope you like performance. I don't remember the last time I had such fun while recording.

I'd like to know if you had any recommendations as I delve into the topic of The Beatles. I know then by reference, but haven't heard a lot of their music. Leave your favorite songs in the comment section and I'll make a playlist with all of them.
