La famosa escritora de novelas policiales, Agatha Christie, estuvo de visita en la Isla de Tenerife en el año 1927. Hace casi 1 siglo que pisó Islas Canarias, y a pesar de que su estancia fue corta, se hicieron en su memoria diversos homenajes en la ciudad en donde se hospedó, Puerto de La Cruz. En este video de 3Speak visitaremos algunos de estos monumentos en su nombre, mientras que al mismo tiempo exploramos un poco de Tenerife, llevando así los hermosos paisajes de esta isla a Hive y llevando Hive al mundo.

Primero, visitaremos un busto conmemorativo ubicado en el Mirador de La Paz. Es un lugar muy hermoso con una impresionante vista, lo cual lo hace el lugar perfecto para un monumento especial.

Muy cerca de allí, a menos de 5 minutos de caminata, nos encontramos con la Calle de Agatha Christie. Es una calle corta pero muy resplandeciente denido a su suelo blanco. No es una calle vehicular sino puramente peatonal, y además conecta con un hermoso paseo que transcurre paralelo al mar y por encima de él, brindando más hermosas vistas y algunas sorpresas.

Finalmente, pude ver con mis propios ojos las escaleras pintadas con diversos títulos de obras de Agatha Christie. Este era el principal objetivo de este video, ya que es lo que más se ve al buscar en internet imágenes sobre Agatha Christie y Tenerife. A pesar de que es el homenaje más grande o más notorio, me fue más difícil encontrarlo. Su ubicación no está explícitamente señalada en el Google Maps y al menos no noté alguna señalización de su ubicación desde el Mirador de La Paz. Finally, I could see with my own eyes the stairs painted with various titles of Agatha Christie's works. This was the primary purpose of this video, as it is what you see the most when searching the internet for images about Agatha Christie and Tenerife. Although it is the largest or most notorious tribute, it was harder to find. Its location is not explicitly marked on Google Maps and at least I didn't notice any signage of its location from the Mirador de La Paz. In the video, you will notice that I found them almost without noticing. Actually, it is not so difficult to find them, but it is not so easy if you are there for the first time.

Personally, I didn't know this British writer until recently. It was thanks to @kikixtina that I got to know her, as she is a big fan and reader of her works. As for her novels, I have only read "The Mute Witness". I really liked that novel, I may do a review on my Hive blog later.
