Sabía que no te amaba
No correspondería a tu mirada tierna
que en mí busca el amor, la pasión más interna.
Y así una relación entre nos hilvanabas.
ni he deseado sembrarte ilusiones inciertas,
pero el fuego interior que tu aroma despierta,
opaca mi consciencia y se imponen las ganas.
y no puedo brindarte lo que tú necesitas.
Pero en los dos palpita un anhelo crucial.
tú viviendo el romance que forjaste en tu mente
y, sin control, yo sacio un capricho carnal.
I knew I didn't love you
I would not reciprocate your tender gaze
That in me seeks love, the innermost passion.
And so a relationship between us you spun.
nor have I wished to sow you uncertain illusions,
but the inner fire that your scent awakens,
dulls my conscience and the desire is imposed.
and I can't give you what you need.
But in both of us throbs a crucial longing.
you living the romance you forged in your mind
and, out of control, I satiate a carnal whim.
