What is God's guidelines for us to be righteousness? (2 of 3)

If you're a Christian, you have to struggle for it. You have to brace up to the responsibilities.1Tim. 3:12 says that all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. The type of persecution is found in Matt. 5:11 which says men will revile and persecute Christians on false premises for the sake of Christ.

1Pet. 4:3-4 says the reason why the world persecute Christians is because the Christians are no more associating with them in sinful life like drunkenness, idolatry, lust and others.

Jn. 15:19-20 says the world loves its own but hate Christians because they're not of the world anymore. And our Lord Jesus Christ told his disciples to expect persecution if they persecuted him.

Christians should not conform to the standard of the world because they are not of the world.
