Este es un homenaje a la banda estadounidense de punk rock Ramones.
Estuve leyendo hace poco documentos sobre los originenes del rock y me tropecé con un artículo que hacía mención a esta banda.

Resulta que está legendaria agrupación de Punk este mes de febrero cumple 48 años de haber grabado su primer álbum. Ellos grabaron su primer álbum en el año 1976 y fue por ello que se me ocurrió hacer este pequeño homenaje, interpretando un tema llamado "Poison Heart" el cual aparece en su décimosegundo álbum que lleva por nombre Mondo Bizarro publicado en 1992; el tema fue escrito por el exbajista Dee Dee Ramone.

El género Punk en sus inicios se caracterizaba por su ritmo vertiginoso y simple, además de sus letras con un contenido de protesta y anarquía. Sin embargo, con los años fue evolucionando hasta el punto de incluir otros instrumentos aparte de los ya conocidos, batería, bajo y guitarra. Por otro lado, las letras también cambiaron con el tiempo hasta el punto de existir al día de hoy letras dedicadas al amor.

Luego de haber hecho la grabación, noté que la canción original tenía una segunda guitarra de fondo y cuando pensé que el trabajo estaba hecho me ví en la obligación de grabar estás guitarras para que el tema quedará lo más parecido posible al original.

Grabé 4 fragmentos adicionales para incertarlos en los minutos, 00:00, 01:00, 01:55 y 03:22.
Al final del tema introduje un solo corto que no aparece en el tema original, aunque el tema en si tiene su propio solo a mitad de la canción como pueden ver.

Espero que les guste este pequeño tributo a Ramones, una banda que sin duda alguna dejo un huella en la historia del rock.

After making the recording, I noticed that the original song had a second guitar in the background and when I thought the job was done I had to record these guitars so that the song would be as close as possible to the original.

I recorded 4 additional fragments to insert them at 00:00, 01:00, 01:55 and 03:22.
At the end of the track I introduced a short solo that doesn't appear in the original track, although the track itself has its own solo in the middle of the song as you can see.

I hope you like this little tribute to Ramones, a band that undoubtedly left a mark in the history of rock.
