Hive Open Mic Week 133 - Melompat Lebih Tinggi (cover) By Teofilus Sinaga

Hi all my friends, my name is Teofilus Sinaga. I come from Indonesia, precisely to the city of Medan. I'm back to entertain you again on the weekly Hive #openmic event which has entered its 133rd week with the theme "Opportunity". This theme was chosen by a young woman who has a beautiful voice, she is @sekani. This community is very interesting to me because it provides challenges every week with interesting themes. I have to find a song with the right theme. This challenge is what got me interested in this Hive Open Mic.

In this week's theme, I will sing a cover of a song called “Jump Higher”, in English “Jump higher”. This song was written and popularized by an Indonesian pop music group, Sheila On Seven. I love this band because the songs are so uplifting and vibrate in my soul. Although they sing songs with the theme of love, the lyrics in their songs are not cryptic and heartbroken. Instead, it gives strength and energy to rise even though it is hit by infidelity and unrequited love.

One of Sheila On Seven's songs that I performed today tells about the spirit to achieve better things, rise from hostile conditions, and then jump to a higher position. Many people who have so much energy to achieve something, pick the dream star. Some of them are passionate about facing challenges. Regardless of what motivation they want to get, what's interesting is that they always have something in common, namely, they have abundant energy, dare to face challenges and have big ambitions to be realized.
