In this video I discuss the idea that these two companies are in trouble. Their entry into the EV game is late. GM, for example, hopes to produce 1 million EVs by the middle of the decades. To get there, they are going to spend $35 billion.
The challenges is these companies are going to have to canabalize their own sales. ICE vehicles are their bread and butter. They are very good at this while enjoying fine margins. The issue is that many countries are starting to outlaw them.
