Stumble Guys: Hot Xmas with Wheels [ENG-ESP]

Stumble Guys seems to have the most competent creative team in recent times, and it's not to be surprised, as after a complete revamp of the video game and the addition of wacky and fun themes, what was once a terrible thing is now something that ultimately plays with style. The Christmas season is here; with it, Stumble offers us some warmth, albeit without hot chocolate and cookies. Of course, the surprise that this little game now delights us with is nothing more and nothing less than Karts and race tracks...

Stumble Guys parece tener al equipo creativo más competente de los últimos tiempos, y no es para sorprendernos, pues tras la renovación completa del videojuego y la incorporación de temáticas alocadas y divertidas, lo que alguna vez fue algo muy malo, ahora es algo que en definitiva se juega con estilo. La temporada de la navidad está aquí, y con ella, Stumble nos ofrece algo de calor, aunque sin chocolate caliente y galletas. Por supuesto, la sorpresa con la que ahora nos deleita este jueguito es, nada más y nada menos, que los Karts y los circuitos de carrera...

¡Los cuales son bastante locos! Por cierto.

First, I must talk about the event that includes the special racing and Christmas theme, and this one is called: "Hot Wheels Burnout". Yes, it includes the allegory to the car track that I always asked Santa for for Christmas, and that he never left me in the chimney, you obnoxious fatso! To get those revengeful Christmas memories out of my mind, I set out to play racing with my Astronaut Skin, which is pretty cool and keeps me focused on the stars. I have an excellent collection of Skins, I'll show you the most recent ones I've acquired later.

The "Hot Wheels Burnout" racetrack challenges the physics of slow acceleration, much like what the toy brand shows in its TV advertising. The joystick on the touch screen of my phone changed for that particular directional paddle, with a gift I loved: free and permanent nitro. You can increase your speed during the whole game, just waiting for the corresponding icon to recharge and become available. With this, I assumed that my chances of qualifying for the next round were higher, but I found myself in a pretty tough race.

Primero, debo hablar del evento que incluye la temática especial de carreras y navidad, y este se llama: "Hot Wheels Burnout". Sí, incluye la alegoría a la pista de coches que siempre le pedía yo a Santa para Navidad, y que nunca me dejó en la chimenea, ¡Gordinflón detestable! Para eliminar de mi mente esos recuerdos navideños de venganza, me propuse a jugar a las carreras con mi Skin de astronauta, el cual está bastante genial y me mantiene enfocado en las estrellas. Tengo una excelente colección de Skins, ya luego les muestro las más recientes que he adquirido.

La pista de carreras "Hot Wheels Burnout" desafía la física de la lenta aceleración, de una manera muy similar a lo que la marca de juguetes muestra en su publicidad de la TV. El joystick en la pantalla táctil de mi teléfono cambió por esa particular palanquita direccional, con un regalo que amé: nitro gratis y permanente. O sea, que puedes aumentar la velocidad durante toda la partida, esperando solo que el ícono correspondiente se recargue y esté disponible. Con esto supuse que mis posibilidades de clasificar a la siguiente ronda eran mayores, pero me encontré con una carrera bastante difícil.

In the first circuit, you have to avoid obstacles while the tracks rotate at three hundred and sixty degrees to confuse you and even make you dizzy. Driving is quite uncomfortable because the karts collide with each other, causing the speed to be lost. At the moment of the crazy turns, as I call them, you must try to step on the acceleration arrows to avoid falling into the void. There was a moment when I didn't know what to do, and I even thought I was already lost. However, in the last moments of the race, I used the nitro to gain position and not be disqualified. I succeeded at the last moment.

Turbo Temple is the second racetrack in the competition, it is more jungle-themed. This one is more linear but has quite complex obstacles, which force you to jump or use all the Joystick to avoid losing the game. Being the penultimate round, only sixteen players can qualify. I admit that I was very worried because I was in last place, almost between eighth and ninth place. I think luck was on my side; my rivals lost their balance at the last moment and got stuck on the obstacles, while I advanced to the third and last round of the race.

Y es que en el primer circuito, hay que sortear obstáculos mientras las pistas giran en los trescientos sesenta grados para confundirte y hasta marearte. Conducir es bastante incómodo porque los Karts chocan entre sí, originando que la velocidad se pierda. En el instante de las vueltas locas, como las llamo yo, se debe procurar pisar las flechas de aceleración para no caer al vacío. Hubo un instante en el que no sabía qué hacer, e incluso pensé que ya estaba perdido. No obstante, en los últimos instantes de la carrera, usé el nitro para ganar posición y no quedar descalificado. Lo logré en el último instante.

Turbo Temple es la segunda pista de carreras en la competencia, está con una temática más ligada a la jungla. Esta es más lineal, pero tiene obstáculos bastante complejos, que te obligan a saltar o a emplear todo el Joystick para no perder la partida. Al ser la penúltima ronda, solo pueden clasificar dieciséis jugadores. Admito que me preocupé mucho, pues iba yo de último, casi entre el octavo y el noveno lugar. Creo que la suerte estuvo de mi lado; mis rivales perdieron el equilibrio en último momento y se quedaron trabados en los obstáculos, mientras yo avanzaba hasta la tercera y última ronda de la carrera.

Para la ronda final no hubo Karts, pero igual el desafío era bastante complejo. Debía yo saltar y evitar la lava caliente. Solo podía ganar uno, y eso lo hace más difícil todavía. Más allá de eso, me encantó la partida. Stumble Guys es un buen juego, de hecho, creo que este seguirá creciendo y trayéndonos cosas buenas,

For the final round there were no karts, but still, the challenge was quite complex. I had to jump and avoid the hot lava. Only one could win, and that makes it even more difficult. Other than that, I loved the game. Stumble Guys is a good game I think it will continue to grow and bring us good things,
