Hello Hive Open Mic community, welcome to week #179 of our weekly concert. I trust we all are doing okay, this week has been quite busy for me as I just recently started a job (9-5)... it's been quite busy and challenging that I hardly have time for hive. Pardon my late entry but like the saying goes "Better Late Than Never" so here I am 😉. In line with this week's theme Urban Music as selected by recent spotlight artiste and my friend @jetta.amaya, I'd be performing a classic by Spanish singer and songwriter "Enrique Iglesias" called "Hero". This song was released over 2 decades ago, precisely 2001. I grew up listening to this record and loving it, this song is evergreen... always so good as the first time I heard it. This record can be categorised as urban music as it's popular music widely accepted by everyone. Its a beautiful love song with an amazing melody and lyrics. True love means you'd be there for the one you love, support, care and defend them. You'd do anything for them. You'd stand by them no matter what cause you love them deeply. Hola comunidad de Hive Open Mic, bienvenidos a la semana 179 de nuestro concierto semanal. Confío en que todos estemos bien, esta semana ha estado bastante ocupada para mí ya que recientemente comencé un trabajo (9-5)... ha estado bastante ocupada y desafiante porque casi no tengo tiempo para Hive. Perdón por entrar tarde pero como dice el refrán "Más vale tarde que nunca", así que aquí estoy 😉. En línea con el tema de esta semana Música urbana seleccionado por el reciente artista destacado y mi amigo @jetta.amaya, interpretaría un clásico del cantante y compositor español "Enrique Iglesias" llamado "Hero". Esta canción fue lanzada hace más de 2 décadas, precisamente en 2001. Crecí escuchando este disco y amándolo, esta canción es imperecedera... siempre tan buena como la primera vez que la escuché. Este disco se puede catalogar como música urbana ya que es música popular ampliamente aceptada por todos. Es una hermosa canción de amor con una melodía y una letra increíbles. El amor verdadero significa que estarás ahí para quien amas, apoyándolo, cuidándolo y defendiéndolo. Harías cualquier cosa por ellos. Los apoyarías sin importar la razón porque los amas profundamente. Espero que todos disfruten 🎧 mi versión de este clásico.
