#1 Mar is the first video of the collection "nowhere but here, inside of us", a collaborative series between artists Silvia Maria and Christian Tatsch. The works blend the imaginary universes that inhabit their minds and hearts, involving images and music.

About the video

This video was recorded at Guaraú beach, in the city of Peruíbe (SP - Brazil), in the year 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic. At the time, we had no idea that the images captured on that occasion would later become a collab.

Silvia Maria is a photographer and visual artist from Brazil. Creative by nature, she has been working in image creation for over 15 years.

Christian Tatsch graduated in acoustic bass at the MPB/Jazz course of the Conservatório de Tatuí (Brazil). Today he works in instrumental music, focused on improvisation and composition. Passionate for gypsy music, he is currently bass player in the band @gadje.roma.
